Don Taco Bar and Grill

Was my first visit today. A friend and I snagged some margaritas and veggie tacos for lunch. Food was fantastic and service was prompt and polite. Made for a great experience overall. I'll be back!

Food and drinks were great. Mistakes had been made but they went above and beyond to correct them.

I love these cozy restaurants with big dishes full of flavor. Must try the white queso with flour chips, they are absolutely delicious. Combination plate has a little of everything, but the chunky beey stew is out of this world scrumptious. Our waitress was exceptional and very friendly.

chicken chimichangas was so good! Definitely recommend! Also some of the best service I've had in awhile!

The food was delicious. Queso was on top of chimis. Rice was very good tonight. Thanks to the cooks. (Had before, and it was a little dry or not cooked all the way.) Everything turned out very good. Love the bigger tables for four people to sit at. Guacamole was good. Needed a little more seasoning, so we added some salt. Came in a little taco salad type bowl! Loved that. Salsa and chips were immediately served after we sat. Keep up the great job! We will be back again. (This was our second visit.)

Delicious and authentic food! We eat here on a weekly basis. The staff is extremely accommodating and super friendly! Portions are more than adequate and so fresh. We have tried almost everything on the menu and have never found anything we didn't like. Favorites are beef taco salad, fajitas, chimichangas and carnitas tacos. Enchiladas are top notch too. Chips and homemade garden fresh salsa are also amazing! Keep up the great work!

This is a fun and cozy spot to get good Mexican. They offer good size plates at great prices. I think my favorite is getting the liter of mixed drink (flavored or house) and sharing it with the table. As the photos show between two people a guacamole starter and sampling dinner is the perfect amount. The staff is very friendly. We will be back!

You'll appreciate the colorful, comfortable, and clean dining room. The open kitchen concept allows dinners to see their meal being prepared. Nothing to hide here!

The margaritas are well balanced and served in an appropriately sturdy glass with a salted rim (of course) and a friendly lime wedge garnish to complete this familiar cocktail. These won't be the reason you come back, but they're good.

Fresh, house-made salsa with semi-house made tortilla chips are brought to the table upon being greeted. The salsa is bright in both color and taste! A nice, slow, building, medium heat slightly lingers in the mouth after a few bites and you'll be happy for the beautiful melody of flavors that accompany the spice of this salsa.

I ordered the lunch portion (2) of the Mexican Tacos and I chose shrimp as my protein. Steak, chicken, shrimp, Mahi Mahi, and veggie, are the meat options. All served with your choice of corn or flour tortillas and sides of refried beans, Spanish rice, fresh Pico de Gallo, and green chili sauce. Flavorful, fresh, and completely delicious!

Go early and bring a friend. A true gem in the heart of downtown Dearborn. I'll certainly be going back for more!

This place smelled soooo good. The chips and salsa were fresh fresh fresh. You can definitely taste the difference. Loved the food.

Been getting the Nacho Botana for 3 years now! Refried beans are just taste authentic and perfectly cooked. I get my order with light cheese. Great service, ambiance and music! Enjoy! Also like there mahi-mahi tacos.

Stopped in for a quick lunch.. omg this place is a jem.. waitress was very attentive and great attitude..... food was delicious and hot. Their Mexican rice was so good took my man's too...

Came here for my first time for my daughters birthday and I was impressed. The service was awesome and the food was great. I brought a cake in and the employees went out of their way to come to our table with her lit cake and sang happy birthday to her. Especially when they don't normally do that. Thank you for doing that and ill forsure be back. Was a great experience.

My coworkers and I planned to eat at a different restaurant, but stopped in to get Margaritas while we wait for everyone to get there. Salvador was our waiter and suggested the Margaritas that were on special, which were delicious. He knew we were only there for drinks but brought us chips and salsa anyways. We decided that the atmosphere and service was great so we changed the meeting to eat at Don Taco instead. The food was phenomenal! I will definitely be back!

ordered the carry out special 6 crispy flour chicken tacos, chicken chimichanga dinner and Queso Blanco and chips, never a let down. large portions, great flavor and great staff.
