The best happy hour. I love the new remodeled look & the very best part is the acoustics. It was a full house and a full bar and it was not loud. Conversations could be heard. The nachos are out of this world. I don’t know if they make their own chips, but two days later the leftovers heated up in the oven. We’re still crisp and delicious. Homemade guac is great too!

Alyssa was a fabulous server. She was super friendly and easy to chat with, Alyssa was so kind to split our individual food orders for sharing. Outdoor eating was nice on the enclosed heated patio out back.

Every couple of weeks, I and my beer Buddies go in search of a good place around St Paul to find local draft beers. Apparently this place has been around forever. Great atmosphere with hundreds of Beer tap handles decorating the walls and ceiling. Some excellent dark beer choices from Freehouse Brewery as well as other Minnesota breweries. Excellent menu with fairly basic fair but very tasty. My friends thought the burgers were excellent, I had the fish tacos. Plenty of room with a real neighborhood vibe. Well worth checking out. They have a long happy hour every afternoon.

The food and beer was amazing. Onion rings were really crispy and good. The sweet potato tots were really good. We had the pretzels for an app and omg, so damn good!

We had a great time here. The happy hour deals are good, and portions are generous. Service was quick and friendly. The atmosphere was also cozy and fun.

All of a sudden, I want to move back to St Paul! Groveland Tap was the perfect neighborhood bar. Kids having fun since tomorrow is a snow day, parents relaxing, and a solid bar with so many tap beers. My favorite is Castle Danger Cream Ale.

groveland tap is a sizable bar with beer and wine service only. the menu has some unique and tasty offerings. the interior is covered with beer taps which make for a fun atmosphere. i did wings and they were solid, beer was good, the tvs had sports on, and the bartender was friendly. can’t go wrong coming here!

Get the pretzel appetizer! I’ve been all around the world eating salted pretzels / Bavarian pretzels, and this is probably one of the top 3 I’ve ever had.

My boyfriend and I go to late night food. Juicy Lucy is our favorite but other burgers are good too! Also the pretzels are good too! Friendly staffs and good service.

45 minute wait on a Monday night? Luckily a couple of spots at the bar opened up. Delicious food. Great service. So many beer choices!! Loved it!

Got the beyond burger + fried pickles. So good! It’s so nice to have a burger restaurant that caters to vegetarians as well. This is our new favorite spot for a burger and beer. Service is prompt and friendly.

Great food and service!!! Love the sweet potato tots, fish tacos, pierogies, the burgers, and the large selection of tap beers!!! Would definitely recommend and will be returning in the near future.

Great place for a beer and some fried food. They have many beers on tap, you’ll be sure to find something for everyone in your group. The onion rings and fried pickles are delicious. Service is hit or miss depending on how busy they are but you just have to be patient with them during dinner rushes. Lots of kids here so if you don’t like kiddos running around it might not be for you, but I didn’t mind.

We were watching our Colorado friend's son play guard for Macalester's football team on a sweltering day in the mid-nineties temp on the turf field. Six of us wanted to go out nearby, casual, with good food for a hungry footballer and something for all of the us. Groveland Tap has a really long list of craft beers on tap, and I don't mean just the usual suspects. We were a loud party, and the terrace was raucous with everyone enjoying watching a game and having a good time. Our lineman had what looked like a double Lucy with some cheese, and other fixings; even he had to take a break, but he enjoyed it and felt resuscitated. My hazy IPA from a new brewery revived me. Fish tacos were really good. The young servers were cheerful and made everyone feel welcome. If you're in the Macalester-Groveland area looking for a family taproom with good food, this is it for you. The lot gets full, but there is easy parking in the neighborhood right around the restaurant.

Great local bar with excellent food.

Service was great. We had a group of 20 and the accommodated us in the back room with no trouble.

FYI. 2 Happy Hours daily. Excellent menu and variety. Good value for the price.

This is one of the best local restauranta in the twins cities. Amazing list of beers on tap, super good burgers (any of the jucy lucy's are ridiculously good) and super fun ambiance. That have a museum of taps on the wall, some fun games in the back and super lively atmosphere! Such a great place!

We're new to the area so we got the 2021 Pubpass to help us find new places to try. Groveland Tap was first on our list and it did not disappoint! It was decently busy for a Friday night, but we had a reservation and were seated right away. They have the tall booths that are perfect for covid distancing and privacy. Tons of picnic tables outside so I definitely want to come back with a dog. Try the Poutine, I'm sad I came from the south known for gravy and had never tried this before last night. The Keylime Pie Sour Ale was our favorite on tap, and the Taco Burger was delicious.

Fantastic experience. Friendly service. Jucy Lucy game is on point. My #3 in MN for best Jucy Lucy. My only gripe is the bun, I wish they used a more basic hamburger bun instead of what I think was a Brioche? Crinkle cut fries were awesome. Really cool restaurant. Nice beer selection. Will be back!

Grandma approved! They’ve definitely stepped up their game adding plant-based burger options. Great spot that feels just divey enough - hometown charm, good beer list, and great food options anyone would enjoy
