Liquor Barrel

I've never personally shopped here and can't speak for the entire staff, but the guys who were working this store this afternoon of Thursday 2/15 have enormously generous, person-centered hearts and showed that they really care about people. When your toddler is suddenly hospitalized for a week and you just need a semblance of normalcy via pizza and a beer, these guys provided that normalcy with an added dash of generosity. My husband and I were moved by their thoughtfulness.

Its a very simple no frills liquor store. The staff is always friendly, and they move things along quickly. Its not a big store, but I kind of like that its smaller and more personal. Their well stocked and can order items if necessary.

Had what I was looking for which made it a nice in & out. Can't argue with that

Friendly staff, competitive prices, great neighborhood feel in my opinion. Not the biggest selection but they have what I need and abigger than usual selection of craft beers which is cool.

One of those places that I could see as easily overlooked. However, it is definitely one of those places that is a 24k staple in the land of licensed local liquor. I secretly just want to hug every staff member I've encountered due to their seemingly genuine kind-natured selves. You go Liquor Barrel! But please don't go. Anywhere. Stay. Always. Muah!

The staff is always so friendly and down to earth! They're always willing to give you suggestions on new beers!! Also, their Instagram posts and updates are great! I always check it to see when they have a new order of Drekker in stock! :)

Always have Drekker and do a great job of stocking their shelves with delicious hard to find beers. Great selection of local beers too. Best liquor store for beer in the city of St. Paul in my opinion

This is my neighborhood liquor store for a reason. Local business, Great staff and they've got the right selection for their clintel. Even if your stopping through they've got some Boujee stuff for ya too along with Schmidt beer ... Which is hard to find now.

Tom and team have selectively curated a really good collection of whiskies, tequilas, et al, and it shows. He provided knowledgeable recommendations and takes serious ownership of their selection. They also just have great beer and wine options!

The staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful! I am extremely pleased with the service they consistently provide and I look forward to continuing to purchase from them again in the future!
