Herbie's On The Park

The hostess and our server (CC) were very friendly. The food (Herbie Burger) and salmon were delicious and nicely portioned. It was cool to see the Herb Brooks artwork and Olympic ring on display. Sounds like this would be a great gathering spot ahead of a Wild game or nearby event.

Meals are served with delightful combinations of flavors to keep me coming back. It's always nice to dine in this ambiance.

Very busy night before a Wild hockey game. However, service was excellent! Food and drinks were quickly served and delicious! Only small problem was that the tables were too close. It was difficult to maneuver between them.

What a beautiful venue. Great drinks and delicious food. Would love to dine in front of the fireplace next time. Don't forget you need to make a reservation.

Wonderful date spot, as first timers to Herbie's on Sunday 12/17 about 245pm. Lovely, comfortable, relaxed atmosphere. Managed to get a high table window seat with a view of Rice Park and the crowds after the show let out. The square bar is huge, with plenty of seats and room to dine there, and a couple nice but not overpowering big screens in the center.
Our server Shelby gave us great service, and the food was delicious. Highly recommend the brussel sprouts, and seafood pasta. Shelby went above and beyond to customize my girlfriend's burger with no bun, various accoutrements on the side, and a few extras for the salad.
Staff recommends making reservations. Good value for the money, and we'll be back soon for another mid Sunday afternoon lunch.

I’ve seen some reviews stating that service is slow or nonexistent. I did not see this. We were in last Saturday before a MN Wild game. We were greeted immediately and at. We were also brought water and our beverage orders were taken. The place was increasingly busy and soon the bar area was packed. We never felt neglected and our server was attentive.

The food was very good. We had the brussel sprouts, scallop pasta, risotto and flat bread pizza. All were very tasty. Our cocktails were also very tasty, but not very strong. We’d definitely come back. We had great service, great food and decent drinks. The atmosphere is really nice with the fireplace.

The food and the service were excellent. The only downside was it was not clear how someone in a wheelchair should access the restaurant since their stairs in the front.

My sister and I came here before the Olivia Rodrigo show at Xcel, and we had a great experience. Our server, Alexa, was incredibly nice and gave us great mocktail recommendations. When the bar was out of an ingredient for the one we ordered, the bartender, John, went out of his way to create a new recipe for us. It ended up being one of the best mocktails we've ever had. The food was great, too— definitely try the bread pudding if you get the chance. Thank you again, Alexa and John, for making our night awesome!

Much better than I thought it was going to be. It was really nice that the food was worth the price. Sometimes restaurants front with the fancy price tag but only semi okay food. This was probably one of the best steaks I've ever had.

The smoked wings with buffalo sauce were cooked perfectly. The Sauce wasnt really spicy had louds of flavors. We also had the mussels that has a sweet pepper sauce which has a kick. Kind of wish the mussels came with more than one small slice of toast to soak up the sauce. Very tasty. We were very please with the visit

Lovely little place! I'm so happy they were able to seat our small group of 4 despite having so many prom guests at the same time!

I had a Pimm's Fizz, and the roasted cauliflower salad - highly recommend both!

Amazing food (I had the omelet and hashbrowns) and a beautiful old building with awe inspiring architecture to boot....if I lived in Minneapolis I could see this becoming a regular hang out for me

The staff was very nice. The food was delicious and everything was served quick. The atmosphere was cozy. The house salad was AMAZING 😍.

Top notch from management, staff, kitchen to bar. Quality, delicious, fresh, food. Fun, seasonal cocktails, fantastic service. It works because good management shows.Very friendly, welcoming and gorgeous views/atmosphere!!

Met with friends before a show... food was excellent... service was excellent... it's a classy place... great woodwork, tall ceilings, comfortable seats... it has that great blend of casual yet elegant... I thought it was priced perfectly for the quality... which was high... scratch kitchen, and I swear I think they baked my pulled pork sandwich bun in house... really good bun!

First time there and we really enjoyed it. Everyone loved the food and the mocktails were unique and tasty. Even on a busy Saturday night the service was excellent.

Classic old school restaurant in the heart of St. Paul. Had brunch. It was classic food, well seasoned, fairly priced and had friendly staff. Great ambiance and views. Fun people watching. Even being so cold outside, you'll be warm with radiators by all of the windows.

This is the #1 spot I go to before a Wild game or even to watch the games. Cece is always the server I request because she’s friendly, efficient, and you can tell she genuinely enjoyed being there. The food is fantastic and my friends always ask the next time I’m going here so they can join me. I highly recommend!

Outstanding and a great atmosphere. It was nice to just walk right into the Eagles concert and avoid the streets with the current climate downtown. The Moscow Mules are the gold standard.

Decent bloody marys and fantastic wings! Our server was great and allowed us to order from the lunch menu even tho it was an hour too early (we really wanted to try the wings!)
