Lunds & Byerlys Downtown St. Paul

I go to this Lunds & Byerlys location to buy my sushi on sale for $6 sushi special Wednesdays. I can report that this store is always very clean, organized, good parking, has friendly service and a great food selection. The cashier named Ron helped me check out the last few times and he was above and beyond friendly and personable. No complaints here.

There are too many great things to say about Lunds & Byerlys Downtown Saint Paul. I have not had a bad experience yet, though the people working are sometimes a little eccentric.

I love the simplicity of the layout, how everything is always fully stocked. My favorite section these days is the food that is cooked in house and then packaged to be reheated at your convenience. They have a variety of different meal options to choose from, from every type of food you can think of.

I love that they have a Seafood Section, a Sushi Station, Hot Food Bar, Salad Bar, Desserts Bar, Soup Section, Bakery, I mean Lunds & Byerly's is lacking nothing!

There is a dining area where you are able to connect to WiFi and enjoy a lunch made in house!

There is private parking, as well as Handicap Parking. From the parking lot, everything is wheelchair accessible and on the other side of the building there is an entrance that features stairs as well as a wheelchair ramp.

Self-Check Out is super easy, but I always prefer to go through the line. There is rarely a wait that surpasses 5 minutes, and the staff is always kind and eager to help.

I honestly could go on and on about all the different isles, sections and all the items they feature because they often times seem to have things that I needed that I didn't expect to find at Lunds. They only thing that I know that they don't have is a Cutting Knife, because I was looking for one when I purchased a cutting board.

Other than that, I love this location and will continue to support this establishment.

I am a frequent flyer at this location, i love all the dedicated hardworking patient kind interactive members of the team, I honestly think that the service exceeded the quality of food and that's really the reason I continue to shop here regularly it's an awesome welcoming place where you can guarantee that care, and extra personality will be a memorable addition to your grocery list. Grateful for your efficiency and conversation and customer appreciation.

The employees are always very nice & very helpful, specifically Sirmarcus. He was so patient, helpful & pleasant. Thank you for making life less stressful!

My local store to shop prices are a bit much but the meat selection is great.

I always receive friendly and fast service at the deli counter. The store is clean and well stocked. The only drawback is that because it is a smaller store, they don't have the same variety you find at other locations. But I love having a downtown location!

I was so happy to find cheese curds to bring back to Florida . This supermarket is really nice , clean and staff is so friendly and helpful .

Nice and well organized. Most of the stocks available most of the time. Staffs are good, kind, helpful and very professional.

It's in the heart of the city and convenient from many businesses/office places to get quick stuffs.

Has a Caribou Coffee shop inside and can get good coffee and breakfast.

Even in winters it's not too far to get a coffee or groceries while heading from office or business.

Fresh seasonal fruits and vegetables I liked here much. For Organic fruits, this is the best I option I found.

Convenient parking, friendly greeting by ST Paul Peace Officer, great selection of vegetables and meats. I really like the deli and take advantage of weekly deals for Extra members. Fast checkout too because they will add cashiers when a waiting line develops.

Great grocery store. So glad there's an option to get groceries in the downtown area. This is a smaller store but carries all items I usually get on a general grocery run.

Perfect small grocery store. Prices are a little higher than some of the big stores in the suburbs, but the convenience makes up for it. Impressive deli and always feel safe here late at night since they have security.

The square donuts are so yummy, but 700 calories so be careful!!

I recently moved to the downtown saint paul area, this is the nearest grocery I'm able to walk to. Honestly it is a bit over my usual food budget but the service I consistently receive has kept me shopping here. The ladies at the sea food counter are so knowledgeable and kind. They always have been so willing to answer my recipe questions since fish Is a foreign language for me however I need to include more of it, they simplified the cooking instructions to help me remember because I was concerned about my brain injury being a barrier but I can't tell you how amazing I felt to have done this pan fried salmon and enjoy the whole experience it really built up my confidence and helped with my integration of new nutritional products. The staff all together has always been kind and courteous greatly appreciated

Very clean place and I have seen the restroom on multiple occasions and were aways acceptable

Great fresh produce, every time I have gone shopping, everything I have wanted has been available.

Additionally they have salad bar, Asian buffet and hot food buffet, done by the weight and again the food is fresh and they always have disposable glove for me to use, which I truly appreciate.

I have been treated with Respect from all the departments I have interacted with at thos store.

Came here for food the other day. And an employee Jason in produce was absolutely amaizing. Super helpful I was having trouble locating the entrance since Robert street entrance was closed and he helped show me how to get in, yeah my bad in that kinda blind lol. But than walked me over to the deli for the salad bar and showed me the soups I was looking for unfortunately they didn’t have the one I wanted but he helped me find the one chilled. He went above and beyond great employee.

Great to shop here. I was especially excited to see such fresh food options even later in the evening. They have sushi on sale on Wednesday and I definitely got a great deal on a fresh plate which would have cost more than $13 anywhere else.

The house brand frozen pizza is also wonderful here. I'll be back here soon!

One of my favorite Lunds and Byerly's! The parking is a little confusing! They have great quality food. The customer service skills of the employee are exemplary! There is also a lot of gluten-free vegan vegetarian food or just plain healthy or options! There is still on healthy food if you like that though too! It is a little pricier than your everyday grocery store but once you go in there you'll know it is worth that little extra money especially for the meat! The sushi is wonderful and it usually is on sale on Wednesdays!

It's pricey as a grocery store but really convenient if you live or work downtown. You can get some really good sale deals + free samples sometimes.
The cashiers are friendly and the atmosphere is nice.
If you need a quick lunch the selection is great. I love sushi Wednesday! Some of the selections are just $6 on Wednesdays, and they're made on site so they're always fresh. There's also a Big Bowl and a Caribou on site. They've got a great selection at the salad bar and lots of fresh soups. There's a deli with pasta salads and sandwiches and cheese. There's seating for eating and free WiFi. There's also outdoor seating in the summer.
They have free (but cramped) parking in the covered lot.

I prefer Aldi prices, but for convenience, quality, and specific brands downtown StPaul location is great.

Lunds and Byerlys in Downtown Saint Paul is a great grocery store. It's perfect for doing shopping when you are in a hurry. The store is relatively small, but in a good way. You don't have to run around a huge store, just to get a few items or even do your weekly shopping. The selections seem to be large and varied. The employees are always very friendly, personable and efficient.
