Original Candyland store

This place is great! Everything is fresh and delicious.

My wife stopped here, brought some candy home. She liked the chocolate covered gummy bears, I liked the chocolate covered raisins. She said the store had a good selection and prices were pretty standard for a stand alone candy shop. Worth a stop if you’re nearby!

Awesome candy store! Many different types available and a lot of choices of popcorn tuna for sale. I was happy they had a good selection of dark chocolate available.

A must go! I think everyone that comes in becomes a kid again. I had such delicious popcorn and chocolate covered pretzels! Yum!!! Very fast service too. I will definitely go back.

More candy, popcorn, color, sugar, syrupy chewy sweetness and crunchiness than humanly possible to resist drooling. I might need a restraining order for a certain loved one and this shop :)

Staff are friendly, attentive, fast, accurate and serve with a smile. Very very busy people who obviously work really hard. I highly commend a visit here especially if you're in the area

We really like to treat ourselves to this store but seldom. When we go, we go all out as the prices rack up and the individual prices are by no means a deal or cheap. But do not let that lead you a stray- you are paying for taste, quality and the experience each and every time! Can not say we have any other “candy store” other than a local gas station but it’s NOT THE SAME! The staff behind the high countertops are always courteous and helpful to get you in and out of their line as some days it can lead out of their store and down the block as their treats are truly in high demand. Might I add, we were quite surprised the last time we were in during July 2021. The customers inside of the store were not very pleasant as we could not tell where the line started and ended so we kindly just stood in the back but then were immediately looked at like we were savages. So be aware and know where the line keeps, starts and ends- PEOPLE WANT THEIR CANDY 🍭!!

Candyland the magical place off of Wabasha. Enter if you please. Open the door and the heavenly smell of chocolate and caramel will draw you in. Soon you will find delectable treats in all directions. Lady was working on the other side making chocolate for chocolate covered balls. Left with a treat, Chicago mix.

This is the best candy store in saint Paul. There is a ton of variety of different candies. they make the world's famous Chicago mix popcorn, three different kinds of popcorn all in one bag. if your sweet tooth is giving you trouble go to candyland in st. Paul on wabasha Street.

We're a year into the pandemic, the downtown Minneapolis location has closed (thank you for everything) and we needed a sweet reminder that things are getting better. We spent about 45min here with our kids and had the BEST service. The employee with the rainbow 🌈 mask created an amazing experience for our kids and us. Thank you so much for being so amazing. Best cheddar popcorn ever. Don't leave without getting Flavocrunch popcorn and always try something new! Pictured are a few of our favorites 🥰

A Minnesota landmark! The smell alone is heavenly! Walk in and be transported back in time by the colorful candy displays, popcorn popping and giant lollipops!! We love going in and getting treats for ourselves and our kids!!

Love this place!! Tonight the girls were busy but they worked it like they had been doing it their whole lives! It's the cutest little candy store, and smells so good. I got the Carmel with peanuts tonight.

Such a great candy store with a great history. Chicago mix is the bomb! We happened upon this shop during a foodie tour of St .Paul and my daughter loves it. I plan to have some Chicago mix shipped to my house (it's the only place you can get the original)!

Long time candyland customer. Fantastic quality, fair prices, nothing beats their butter white popcorn! Get a punch card and go crazy!

I love their plain popcorn....to bad the City of St Paul did not think about their need for parking, St Paul screwed up Wabasha with widened sidewalks for bikes and peds which do not exist. And then they narrowed the parking bays that do exist so that it is unsafe to get out of your car too.

If you ever visit St. Paul you've got to come here it's a Saint Paul mainstay been here for decades popcorn, chocolate 🍫 & candy made right in front of you and when you come don't forget to get a souvenir
