This place reminds me of what toy stores should look like but usually don't anymore. The shelves are packed but well thought out. Similar things are grouped in the same areas, which is particularly helpful in the board game area. There's a huge variety, from Lego to puzzles to pretend playsets, tactile / fidget toys, things that fly, things that roll, suckers and sweets and so much more.

A staff member asked us if we need help - turns out she was the owner, was extremely knowledgeable and gave great recommendations while making us feel welcome as out-of-towners. Next time we visit family we'll be sure to return.

Love this store. Toys and games for EVERY age. Great puzzle selection. Excellent customer service. This place is my go-to for all things fun. It’s packed, so allow for some time for your brain to take it all in. :)

Always a great place to shop for gifts for all ages! Unique and fun toys, everyone is always super nice and my kids loving looking at the windows.

A great little toy store packed with a huge variety of items to interest any kid or kid-at-heart. The owner is very helpful, remembers children's names and knows what they like. They can't compete with the likes of Target on prices but they are not overly expensive. But their advantage is being a local, small business with friendly, knowledgeable staff.

Hands down best Toy store in Minnesota. The owner seems to always be there- ready to deliver a unique, knowledgeable, friendly and affordable experience for kids and adults of ANY age. Inventory always has new & popular, vintage & one of a kind Toys/games! This local small business goes above and beyond with: Free (and professional/adorable) gift wrap, you can call ahead to pick up your order(wrapped if you like!), make an account for cash discounts etc. I don't go anywhere else! 100 Stars!

Awesome local toy store that has everything you'd expect, but also tons of truly unique options. It's my go to place for finding gifts that stand out. Oh, and the place looks kind of magical in a Harry Potter sort of way.

Still loving this place and still say it reminds me of A Harry Potter like store! My kids prefer it over the big store (the one with the bullseye) because the better toys are here. Plus this place keeps lists of kids and the gifts they’d like so it’s super easy to shop for their birthday parties.

Outstanding! Everything you want in a local retail shop. Great selection, unique toys that kids love, extremely helpful staff, and they do great job gift wrapping. They even keep track of what gifts are sold for birthday parties and help to avoid double gifting!!

Such a special toy store to visit. Big selection of toys and especially has lots of kits to make or paint things which are great for older kids. Very helpful staff that really know their merchandise. Even a candy section with yummy things to buy. Would recommend a trip to this store at anytime!!

Something Safari is an amazing store! The owner is phenomenal and so helpful! She remembers us by name and is always willing to help. Also, a lot of her toys cannot be bought at Target or Walmart, which is what I love! She has a great selection & is doing a wonderful job!

Pei lin is the best. She always has awesome recommendations and knows her products to a tee. She remembers what kids like that shop there consistently and is always going the extra mile to find the perfect toy or gift.

This is one of the best toy stores I've ever been to! They have so many unique items and are so helpful in fining the perfect gift for whatever boy and girl your looking shopping for. This will be our go to toy store from now on and we don't even live close to the store!

***** Something Safari is awesome. Floor to ceiling, wall-to-wall toys. Toys from my childhood to toys from today. Toys for infants up to death (not to be morbid). I came in here looking for a pacifier clip. I have been striking out, but I found an awesome teether that attached to one of the pacifier clips I already own. There were a number of other toys that you find in boutique shops here in the toddler infant room. There are outdoor toys like swings. One of the coolest things was a light up saucer that you can swing on. Yes, I'm a big kid. There are zillions of boardgames, stuffed animals, Mad Libs... you name it. Best of all they have complementary gift wrapping. I highly recommend this toy store.

Employees are great. They interact with you and show you how to use the toys. They don't just stand behind the counter.

Wonderful locally owned toy store. They have a good selection of Brio trains and Playmobile sets!

Amazing customer service and they wrap presents for you for free! I can't tell you how many times I've stopped here just minutes before a birthday party and have left with a packaged gift, perfect for the child in mind!

I haven't seen a toy store like that in a long time, they seem to have a little bit of everything! From puzzles, Legos, and even Magic the Gathering cards to Mad Libs and Color changing tiles, so neat!
