Adore the Art Shanty Projects that roll out on Lake Harriet in the middle of winter. Special shoutout to all the organizers, artists, sponsors, staff, and volunteers who make the projects so lively, whimsical, creative and fun. Yet another reason to love the village of Linden Hills. Check it out!

A great event showcasing interactive winter art. It is an amazing immersive experience, on the ice of a frozen lake. It's family friendly, but interesting and fun for all ages. The shanties are built to be enjoyed by everyone, and staff plus volunteers are ready to assist people with disabilities. It's still a frozen lake, so take care, but it is made to be as accessible as is possible. ASL interpreters are available. The organization is run by donations, so remember to give what you can. If you are a member, you skip the line.

Such a great Experience! A variety of art installations are exposed and thousands of people are visit this location every year, walking all above the frozen lake of Harriet! The only downside of it is the time of the year and the really cold weather.
