Cute thrift store with a great selection of everything. Very well organized and clean. Prices were better than Goodwill & they had fitting rooms that were open so you can actually try on clothes and see if they fit before you buy. Big plus!! Would recommend coming in and taking a peek around. I'll be back :)

When I have to choose between Goodwill and Bethesda I 100% am come to Bethesda! The ladies are always helpful but the prices are realistic. They still understand that a thrift store is for people who may not have the finances to pay for a new shirt or pants or what they need. So a huge thank you!! I feel blessed finding your store!

I love coming here! There's always a unique treasure to be found at a good price. The color tag sales help you save even more. The store is well organized and their fitting rooms remain open. Also, shout-out to Michela for her exceptional customer service!

While their prices are too high on certain items other items are more reasonably priced. Make sure your volunteers are not overpricing items. The store can raise profits by doing higher volume sales while still lowering margins. You will drive more foot traffic through your store as a result and have the opportunity to solicit further donations too. The store, the customers and your charity, all win under this business strategy. Listen to your customer base. Other reviewers think your prices are too high. You have a good store, make it a great one.

This is by far my favorite consignment store, and I get the majority of my clothing & other miscellaneous items here. I've been going here for years and recommend it to all of my friends. Their inventory is fun and useful, and their community values shine through. You can feel good knowing you are buying reused items & that you are helping people in need & the helping planet when you shop with them.
They are a Lutheran thrift store, but it is not overwhelming, and they are accepting of all denominations and identities. Staff members & volunteers are always friendly (and will make sure to wrap any breakable items for you at checkout!!)
They frequently put new items out, and their store is not too overwhelming and is easy to navigate. You can always find something when you go in, even if it's not what you went in looking for. They have frequent sales, and all of their items are reasonably priced and affordable.
Their Covid precautions have been fantastic; there are clear dividers for customer flow, cart-cleaning products are available when you walk in, hand sanitizer is stationed around the store, and the checkout counters have protective plastic in place.

One of the best thrift stores in the area. Monday is old folks day, 25% off. 50% off a special color every day. Great sales people. One of a kind items, wait. If I keep telling you how great this place is, the secret will be out. Ahh. Yeah, is still 5 stars and more.

I am a thrift store junkie and Bethesda is my favorite thrift store. It is clean, well organized, has a great selection and good prices, not to mention they play praise music while you're shopping!!! I have found so many great finds at Bethesda, I hardly know what real stores are like anymore, I rarely need to go to any.
Keep up the good work, Bethesda!

Having to go to Minnetonka for an appointment I was thrilled with our unbelievable find. I was with a cute 17 year old who was also impressed and delighted with her finds. She only looked at the yellow .50 tags. The quality and prices were very impressive, wonderful. We were lucky to shop on a day where all yellow tickets were .50. But I must say I also purchased some regular priced items and was impressed with those prices also.
I'm eager to return even though I don't live in the area.

Lovely thrift store. Employees are always nice and well mannered. They also give to the community.

Can't find anything negative to write.

I've bought a wig, books and clothing from them. I plan to keep buying from them as long as they're around. One of my favorite thrift stores in the area.

Always enjoy a trip to Bethesda Thrift Store! Other reviews have complained about their prices-everything's relative, I guess. They are less than half the prices of Unique, but sometimes a little more than Bibles for Missions, and the quality and price is generally far better than Salvation Army, Unique or Goodwill. Everyone here is friendly and very pleasant to deal with and they have clean items. They don't sell junk. And always a big selection of housewares-glasses, plates, cups, that sort of thing. I rarely buy second-hand clothes anymore so I can't speak to that but they seem to have a lot of them.

Bethesda is a sparky surprise in the western suburbs for people who relish a thrifty hunt.
While prices seemed scattered, I didn't complain about my Ikea fabric ($4.99), RL jeans (6.99!), or moonstone necklace ($1.99).

There are all kinds of interesting things here. Lots of clothes but also small appliances, seasonal decorating stuff... Target is right across the street but I try to remember to check here first!

I always find good bargains at reasonable prices in books and DVDs. They play Christian music over their PA and the atmosphere in the store is great, the sales associates are always pleasant!
