What a delightful place next door to the Exeter Amtrak station. This small cafe is a mom-and-pop style shop with delicious staples like corn beef hash, omelettes, and eggs Benedict. Frequented by locals and visitors alike, this cafe is a gem, still seeped in the charm of diners of yore.

Service is warm and inviting: as soon as you walk in, you are made to feel right at home. Old train schedules adorn the walls, reminding you of railway history from decades ago. Trackside Cafe is a must-visit if you find yourself in Exeter!

Weve been coming here for years and it's still my favorite breakfast place. Added a side of sausage gravy to my breakfast sandwich today and had to be one of the best breakfasts ive had in a while.

Good food, kind servers, clean, no thrill breakfast restaurant. I've had breakfast here for more then 10 times now. Reasonable prices.

Trackside Café the last time I went there was probably 30 years ago. I just revisited it on January 3, 2024 food still good service is great and no one knows about it yet.

Great food and staff. Reasonably priced. Comforting feel of and old diner. Sat at the counter next to strangers but by the end of meal had made new friends. People were friendly.

My wife and I love going to trackside. Pancakes are huge and wait staff is friendly and fast. Sit at the counter for an experience.

You can purchase an Amtrak ticket from here and a fresh muffin and coffee to go and be on the train to Boston or Portland in just a few minutes!

Nice location and quaint. Just remember can and the protions are generous so bring an appetite!!

Apparently there is a side door to access the diner before the front convenience store opens (maybe they only want locals to know about this?). We waited until the store opened because there was no signage directing us to that entrance. Anyway, the breakfast was good and priced affordably.

Unreal food, portions, more than fair pricing and amazing staff.

I love going to a family-owned business seeing a husband, wife and I believe even the kids were running around. The food was awesome. Try the homemade corned beef hash. I got a ham, egg and cheese and the ham was half of a ham steak. Great breakfast. Great price

Awesome restaurant hidden in the back of Gerrys, the food is great and at a reasonable price, not to mention the service is always friendly and fast

Really nice place. Myself and two others were seated right away. Menu was simple without too many items. Food was served very quick after ordering. Food was exactly how you'd image diner food to taste but better. Has plenty of of table and counter seats, so you could dine alone or in a group. The staff was all very nice. Regulars were greeted by everyone, but weren't pulling servers away from others. Bill was very cheap, only about $10 per person for a big plate. Overall, great place for a good breakfast or lunch.

Super friendly staff, great comfort type breakfast food with a super hometown feel. Love going here with the family.

The eggs benedict country style I ordered was really very enjoyable 👍🏽. My late morning Friday seating required no wait which was pleasantly surprising, because how crowded varies based on "eatery rush hours" as usual for tasty dining.
