Blue Wazabi

We love Blue Wazabi! The sushi is always delicious and fresh, great value with their large speciality rolls. Their kitchen food is good too! The staff is lovely.

Everything I imagined!

I started my first year in college in Madison and found this convenient sushi shop. This place outperforms all the other restaurants you could order from, as they have an in-depth knowledge of the town. The sushi and the diverse food are not just fantastic, but also come at great prices. They deliver in a timely manner, even during busy periods, and are always ready to assist with any questions about their food. They are also open to any suggestions you might have about your meal. Every dish you enjoy, you can feel the dedication they put into it.

So, if you're ever in Madison, trying to find places to eat, or a college student like me, TRY IT! It's great for treating yourself after that reeeaally long week at work and school. :)

Love this place! The sushi was so delicious and fresh. Decent pricing too. I ordered takeout and it was ready quick.

Vegan sushi options were amazing! We asked about vegan options before ordering and they were super accommodating and understanding. We were told all the vegetarian rolls are vegan as well as the vegetable spring rolls. They even brought out the ingredient list for the spring rolls so we could look at them. We will definitely be ordering again! Highly recommend the sweet potato tempura and inari avocado rolls.

Great service and amazing sushi, best place in the area.

After trying all of the sushi restaurants in Chatham and Madison, Blue Wazabi is our favorite. Sashimi is always fresh with good cuts and rice is flavorful! They have fun rolls like luck of the Irish and appetizers such as crispy rice, age tofu.

Best small place sushi byob in NJ.

I love their food it’s like the best sushi ever! And the people there are so nice and very understanding if you’re new to ordering and don’t know what to do. :))) would go again and definitely recommend!!!

Great place for birthdays!

I came here with coworkers for my birthday. Delicious food and great service. They were flexible with substitutions, attentive, and even surprised us with birthday dessert!

The lunch specials are also fantastic.

It is a cozy place, so its good we had a reservation (we were 10).

We frequently get take out from here and the food is always so fresh and delicious. Service is always nice as well. Definitely recommend getting the salmon don!

Excellent sushi here. NYC quality. Very fresh ingredients and friendly, helpful staff. I highly recommend this place for lunch, dinner and take away. Also, the restaurant is located in what I believe is a historic bank building and is located pretty much right in the center of downtown Madison, which is a lovely place to stroll around before or after eating some really good sushi.

We have eaten here several times recently and every dish has been outstanding. Very fresh fish and Sushi Chefs definitely know what they are doing... Very small, so make a reservation. We have seen several people turned away at the door because there just is not enough seating. Enjoy :)

We have ordered from BW many times and everything is always great. The sushi is always fresh and very well prepared, and I love that they also offer hibachi and teriyaki dishes which my kids really enjoy. Thank you BW for serving delicious food before and throughout the pandemic, and looking forward to dining in soon.
