Jiggs McAllister's Music Saloon (Jiggs’ Corner)

A wonderful local establishment that offers both food and a variety of beverages. I have been frequenting this establishment on a weekly basis recently. Notably, they are currently offering a special promotion where select appetizers and their renowned wings are available at a 50% discount between the hours of 4 pm and 6 pm. Their wings are great!

Wings are great, lemon chicken is great. Steak sandwich is tough but very tasty.

Went there a few times to check the place out. Great food at good prices. Nice bar to get cold brews and wings. They have live music too which is awesome. Awesome meet up spot to have a few and relax. Staff is great too. Quick and attentive

I’ve lived here for years now and my only regret is not coming here sooner! I pass it everyday and finally was able to make my way in tonight. The food was amazing, The service was great and definitely will now be my favorite spot to go.

I didn't want to review this place, because when I find places I truly really like, I want to keep it a secret. That's not fair to the business though, so I will reluctantly give praise in hopes that the bar won't be full the next time I stop in.
I've passed Jigg's practically once a week for the last 14 years that I lived in the area. I never planned a trip to to go there, but always noticed it driving up 23. Tonight I made it my mission to stop in and check it out.
I read many reviews praising the wings so I gave it a go. Fantastic. I went with the hot sauce, pretty much the normal amount of heat. Next trip I might try "Suicide" that should be fun!!!
The staff was friendly, the music was cool. Everything from John Denver to Alice in Chains. Rooster played, and I felt right at home.
Part of my apprehension about coming in is that they are known for loud music. I play in a band, and when I go out to eat, I want peace, not loud snare drums blowing out my ears. I was pleased to see that live music has ended there, and will no longer be a feature.
Finally, a nice spot that isn't a chain restaurant. I'll probably stop in next Saturday and try a burger or something, if I talk myself out of the suicide wings. I can't believe in 14 years I've just kept passing this place by. A+ in my book.

UPDATE:
I wanted to get there the next weekend to try the suicide wings, but ended up getting them tonight. AWESOME. The heat was above most chain restaurants, but not intolerable. The consistency of the sauce is like tomato sauce, rather than liquid squirts that you would get anywhere else. After I finished up, the friendly bar tender with the beard (I wish I knew his name, he was a very nice guy) recommended the garlic suicide wings, so I will give it a go next time (in the next 2 weeks). Music was cool, I wasn't drunk, but I can't particularly remember what was playing. It was cool enough that I shazamed a couple of songs while hanging out. Looking forward to my next visit!!

Been coming here for years. Moved away but stopped in while visiting friends and it’s still awesome. Good food and good beer selection and live music. Jeff Beer is a stellar bartender and a gem of a human. Some of the best wings in the state for sure and good prices as well.

Great food and friendly staff.Been here several times in the past couple of months, always enjoyed the food.I had a double bacon cheeseburger, it was delicious.Have had the rib eye in the past, also excellent. They have plenty of beer too if you like.

Great local place for food, drinks and fun. This was our first time but not our last. Great service too!

Great food. Legend of a place. Bartenders fast and courteous. A whole group of us and Frank a full meal at the bar. Steak sandwich on garlic bread was awesome. Haystack...amazing. rings and fries delicious. Not sure how it is on a music night but great place.

My boyfriend and I just moved to the area and we had always passed by Jiggs on our way coming home from running errands. Decided to stop in to see why it's always so packed and now we understand! The food is awesome for the price as they offer HUGE portions! The service was amazing, and they had a good selection of beer. We will definitely be back!

Love the hard rock vibe this place has going on. The prices cannot be beat for the area. Brian the bartender is the man! Very attentive and polite, even during a massive rush. Makes it his mission to make sure you and your group have a good time.

Consistently great wings, best steak sandwich around, casual neighborhood joint vibe. Nothing fancy but that's the point, I'm there at least once a week and will keep coming back

If this very casual restaurant/bar was located in a beach town, there would be a line out the door. Instead it's located in a very un-chic section of Route 23 so it looks unattractive from the outside.

Solid steak dinners at very fair prices. Really enjoyed my $16 ribeye (16oz). My son also loved his $14 sirloin.

Wings were good. A few interesting beer choices.

Always a great experience here! Bartenders know their stuff, food is just as amazing as the last time I was there and I’ve been going there for over a decade.

Great local place.... the food is really good and very reasonably priced. Friendly fun atmosphere and most nights they have great music! It like "Cheers" in Butler

Was there for a live band night. They had an amazing bluegrass band. Not something I'm normally into, but would go back for the dive bar feel, good beer and perfect atmosphere.

You are either shilling for some other local bar/restaurant/diner, or you are a complete moron! Jiggs has been in business for decades and is always packed! My family has been coming here since 2000 and we have NEVER had a bad meal. The prices are reasonable, the staff friendly and they book great bands. You claim that the waitress asked, and forced you to leave a tip? I know these servers and you are a liar! What were you snorting when you wrote this "review"? You probably complain during an orgasm!

Food and drinks are great, but as far as getting a gig for one of my bands here, FORGET IT!!! It turns out that the McAllister brothers, Tim and Mike, & Jan Loe, who runs the open mic nights there, informed me that they have some sort of "decibel measurer" that determined that my band would play too loud, even though we never played a single note!! I've had several people tell me I may have a very lucrative lawsuit, especially since they wouldn't or couldn't show me this special device...! 🤔

Some of the best hot wings in the area. That being said, I mostly go for the wings with fries and a couple beers. On point every time! Jiggs is great for catering wings too.
