I love my haircut! Very nice ambience. Julianne and Amanda made me feel so comfortable.
My hair feels luxurious and soft and they have a nice selection of shampoos, moisturizing and styling products.
It also helps that the stylists here are experienced with my curly wavy hair type.

My son grew his hair out, and fairly long during COVID. Gina did an amazing job with a thorough Consult & beautiful shaping before he went back to College this year! Now it looks so amazing and much healthier than it has in a long time. Thanks for your patience, education on maintenance and styling! See you again soon.

Salon G and Erin are AMAZING!!!!

After a botched color at my previous salon and their refusal to fix the problem, I was in panic mode. I called Salon G Friday morning right at 10am when they opened and spoke with Erin. I told her that my hair color was a hot mess and I needed a color correction badly. I was pleasantly surprised to get an appointment at 11. I walked in the salon and was greeted by Erin immediately. The salon is very clean and welcoming. I showed her the picture of what I wanted and then she saw the mess that was my hair which looked nothing like the picture. My color was multiple shades of brassy orange blonde, Ash blonde and yellow. She advised me of the intended plan to correct the color. I knew right away, she knew what she was doing. As she started working on my hair and each step to correct, I knew I was in good hands. It took several hours and several different steps which I was totally ok with. After she was done and blew me out, I literally cried. She overdelivered on expectations and my hair looks amazing!!! Everyone was so nice and the owner Gina introduced herself, brought me coffee and the assistant brought me water. I was asked multiple times if I needed anything. I felt like my business was important to them and with my stellar results, they have themselves a new customer! Thank you Erin and Salon G, you turned a hair emergency into hair envy! That night at dinner, the server asked me where I get my hair done as it is fabulous and I proudly said Erin at Salon G! The first 2 pictures are the botched job, the 3rd picture is the amazing transformation by Erin and the last photo was the inspiration pic.

I've been going here for 6 years. Erin does my hair. I've never walked out upset. She does an amazing job and I put my full trust in her when I go. It's a relaxing experience.

I have been going to Salon G since the day they opened. I love the staff and love my hair. My confidence level in Gina is so high, I literally sit in her chair and ask her what we are doing to my hair. The staff is super friendly. I would definitely recommend , you won’t be sorry.

Salon G is the Best salon I have been to. Gina color corrected my hair and cut out all my dead ends. Gina and I had a consultation on how I wanted my hair and she did not disappoint. It's nice to have someone take their time to listen to my needs and master what I wanted.

This is one of the trendiest salons I've ever been to. It's high-end and the girls are all beautiful and kind. The owner is gorgeous and phenomenal. You need to visit this place.

The best! I’ve only been there 2 times yet I already know I’ll be going here for a lifetime. So classy and the salon is high end as well. My hair stylist is Alexandra and she’s amazing! What she’s accomplished with my hair when no one till this day has ever done. She listens and is such a professional and has a great personality too. I owe my amazing hair all to her. 10/10 would recommend!!

Angela is the absolute best! I swear she is the Hair Dr.! I came to her last year after my hair had been destroyed (bleached, fried, bleed marks, brassy, etc..you name it) by two other local hair salons. She took the time to explain everything to me and reassured me that it would take time, but in order to get my hair healthy we had to do it in stages. She has spent an endless amount of time getting my hair back to a good place and making me happy along the way (trying to make me love my hair again, with minimal damage to my hair). She recommended things that nobody EVER told me about (tape-ins, treatments, keratin treatments). What hairstylist would give you her personal number to text or call anytime with questions or concerns? She did! And for all the times I texted with things I liked or didn't like, or pictures of what I wanted - she always responded and if it wasn't something that was good for me, she had an alternative to make it work. Angela is passionate about hair, her profession and making her clients hair happy, but making sure your hair stays healthy. She is creative and a master at what she does. I cannot say enough about how amazing this stylist is. When you sit in her chair you know that she is listening and it is a great feeling to know that she just gets it. I am so grateful to have found her and would urge anyone who has had bad hair experiences or bad hair to go talk with her - I promise you will not be disappointed!

I've been going to Gina (the owner) at Salon G for the last 2 years and I've always had an excellent experience. My hair has gotten curlier as I've gotten older and Gina has given me great cuts that grow out well and were easy to style straight or curly whether my hair was half way down my back or shoulder length. Their new space in Metuchen is beautiful and I plan to continue going there as long as I live in this area!

I got a layered haircut done by Alexandra last week and I am beyond happy with the results. She did such an amazing job understanding what kind of look I wanted and gave me exactly the kind of layers I was looking for! I will definitely be coming here again when I decide to go shorter in the fall :)

The owner Gina and her staff are amazing at what they do, I wouldn’t let any other salon touch my hair! The salon is warm and inviting and has such a great atmosphere. Highly recommend!!!

Mindy was my hair dresser, she really took the time to listen to what I was looking for when it came the color I wanted. She did an amazing job on color and cut. Highly recommend. The salon is also very cute and clean.

Always have excellent experiences at Salon G! Gina cuts the hair of all of my family. This includes myself, my wife, my 14 year old daughter, my 10 year old son, and my 5 year old son. As you can imagine they all have unique styles and Gina always gives them a cut that they love. Gina has also recommended new styles to each of us and we have always been thrilled with her suggestions.
