My dad is Indonesian and loves this place! I have yet to visit the store, but he has been bringing me takeout. I don’t know the names of everything he brought me besides the beef rendang, but everything is incredibly delicious and flavorful, even the rice. If you can’t handle spicy food, I recommend asking for the red chili instead of the green chili. The green one is not for the faint of heart. I hope I can visit in person one day!

So thrilled this new small business is in town. They are always happy to tell me about each dish that they’ve prepared for the day, and how to best enjoy them. It’s so helpful that there’s a parking lot behind the building so that I don’t have to worry about parking on the busy road. They have a nice selection of vegetarian dishes with tofu or tempeh, and wonderful desserts.

Highly recommend. Fresh delicious food that you can't find elsewhere, very friendly and kind. They have seating for one party outside and parking in the back.

Their box combos are a good deal. 2-3 sides + rice. They also have homemade popsicles, I recommend pandan leaf flavor.

They sell other Indonesian products, not just food products.

The food from this place is absolutely delicious. The dishes are tenderly cooked with authentic aromatic spices from Indonesia and anybody who has enjoyed local cuisines in South East Asia will recognize and appreciate the taste. Very modestly priced and truly excellent value - easily the best Indonesian food in New Jersey and perhaps even the Tri-State area.

Everything was so good!! Loved the nasi pandan and the spicy sauce especially. Such great flavor. Will definitely be back!

Very authentic and delicious Indonesian food. Made fresh daily and really a home cooking, indeed. Like what other reviewers have said, I too don’t have to go to New York or Philadelphia in order to get Indonesian dishes. The best Indonesian food that you can immediately get.

I was driving from whole food to kamman asian grocery one day and I saw a sign outside that said INDONESIAN something. I almost slam my brake, but for the sake of driver behind me I didnt. I thought it was just another Indonesian grocery store who get food from Philadelphia, where i go to a lot to satisfy my craving of Indonesian food. I WAS WRONG. This place cooks!!! I stopped by this morning right after they were almost done preparing this chicken dish called ayam woku. I ordered 4 dish, chicken woku, beef garo, stuffed tofu and a jackfruit dish. They are all drool worthy. They have new menu daily. This is truly a hidden gem!!! I probably will go to Philly a lot less now!! A taste of Indonesia in Metuchen!!! Cant wait to try their fried chicken!!!

Discovered this little shop through the TooGoodToGo app, and rest assured I will be back on my own accord soon!

The staff was super kind and helpful, while they could have just given be what they felt like, the employee was kind enough not only to ask my flow or and spice preferences, but also let me know the dishes she was giving me; I can tell there is much pride in her culture’s food! (And well deserved, everything was delicious!)

The tuna in the soy sauce was amazing, had a similar consistency to a pork floss, will definitely be back for more soon :)

Great Indonesian store in the heart of Metuchen … their risoles is very good and authentic

Very authentic Indonesian place. The coconut rice is just right. Especially love the spicy beef and tuna. The service is also great!

This spot is a must try for everyone in the Metuchen area. Authentic Indonesian food at a reasonable price. I've been here several times and it never disappoints.

Coffee is great. Now they serve hot cooked food and it's amazing. Had the coconut rice with chicken and spicy potatoes. People inside are friendly and helpful when I had questions.

As a Dutch Expat in the US, I am always looking for great Indonesian food. We used to have to go to New York City, or Philadelphia. But now, we can just swing by Dita's Market in Metuchen. The Rendang, Ayam Goreng, and homemade sambals were all delicious!

Excellent food - family owned. Went for a first time, they provided a great explanation of all the dishes plus recommendations. All the dishes were fantastic and homemade. Will be going back again.

What a treasure, the food is delicious the women are sweet and kind always ready to explain the meals and offer a taste. Great service . I'll definitely frequent this place
