Awesome park with great woodland trails, pond, beaver dam, boardwalk over wetlands, and informational signs. Walking here you are deep in the woods but you are just next the airport! Fiddlestick ferns galore!

This loop trail was such a nice Sunday walk, and it was very flat and easy to maneuver.

Just make sure you have shoes with some good grip and can get dirty because the trails tend to hold lots of water in areas, and the leaves make it hard to see the mud.

I would also keep your maps or Alltrails app up because there are alot of forks and trails that lead off in different directions.

And then the old Ann Lee Nursing home was gone. This is a beautiful place to walk the nature trail around the pond. Walk and see the bulls and other livestock at the Shaker site. The barns gorgeous, the people are friendly. It’s relaxing if you just want to take a nice walk, or relax reading information about the shakers

Nice little hike near the city. Very pretty pond that draws wildlife. Saw a lot of songbirds, a turtle, geese, a chipmunk, etc. and heard frogs and shy birds, such as a hermit thrush. To me, the best way to experience a nature hike is to park in the gravel lot to the RIGHT after you come down Heritage Lane from the airport. The pond signs point to the left, but there is a second lot to the right, and there’s a trailhead from that lot on the right. If you walk along the trail there, you will come to a floating bridge on the left. After you cross that you can just take every trail that goes to the left (all marked red) and you will circle the pond and end up back at the lot that’s on the left. Just cross that lot to get back to the starting point. It’s about 1 mile and flat.

I love the hiking trails and biking trails that this place has. There are also many geese and other birds that swim in the pond.

Brought my kids for a nice nature walk. They loved the bridge that goes over the pond. Fishing has been pretty active the first few times I have been there.

Nice park to bring your dogs. Nice pond, and feels like your in the middle of the woods once past the bridge. Be sure to bring bug spray though, the water plus the shade makes for alot of gnats and mosquitos after april.

Beautiful space to enjoy a last quick walk in nature before getting on an airplane. Mosquitoes were an issue but only if you stop moving/walking.

This site is a very interesting historical look into Shaker history and includes beautiful nature trails around the old mill pond now called Ann Lee Pond.

One of my personal favorite places to just sit and think. I probably stop here a couple times a week to just enjoy how peaceful it is and watch nature. Love the sound of the water going over the falls but the little bridge may need an upgrade soon.

I like this short, easy trail. It is bug season right now, so wear bug spray!

Beautiful spot. Ann Lee is buried here. At least this was preserved when they built the airport.
