These guys are great. We had them look at our car because of a grinding sound. They kept it for two days. They looked at it and made a few adjustments without charging us! They are honest and fair. I highly recommend their business.

By far the best repair shop in Columbus. Not only have they saved me a lot of money compared to quotes from other businesses, but Doug and Pat give thorough explanations of potential issues and have also shown me how various parts were damaged after work was done on my car. Highly recommend.

Great repair shop! I've used them several times over the years and they always do a great job at a reasonable price. They don't rip you off like most places. When they give you a quote before doing the work, and the price comes in lower, they will lower the amount you owe. It is a small shop though, so you will most likely need to wait a few days in order to get the work done.

The guys here were super helpful. My car was older and had high mileage and they didn't try to scam me. They explain the situation and let me make a choice myself even though it meant I didn't have them fix my car. Would highly recommend

Always treat their customer with respect. Much much cheaper and actually found the vehicle needed less service than the dealer. My go to auto care from now on!
Update: used them again for service this Friday. Owner tool the time to work on vehicle Saturday morning to ensure we would have vehicle back in time for work week. That's above and beyond service. He didn't have to do that, but meant a lot.

Hands down the best mechanic I’ve ever been to in Columbus. They’re honest, friendly and efficient, and they got me an estimate on a flex pipe for my car within a few hours of me dropping it off. They had the repair done by the end of the day and even saved me some money on it! I will happily return here again.

I can’t say enough about them! My son is several states away in Ohio and was having car issue problems and didn’t know what it was, they went above and beyond to get they car fixed. They were professional, friendly and reasonable with prices. They will be the mechanic of choice while in Ohio! I am new to the area and looked at the reviews prior to going to Doug & Pat's. I am glad I did. Have to say it was a very positive experience. I was having AC issues and pulled up to the shop at 5PM. Pat was outside and asked if he could help. I explained my issue and he right then took a look at my auto. They pulled it in the shop and after an hour and a half I was on my way home with my auto repaired. They stayed late to get me back on the road. The cost was very reasonable. I will return if I have anything else that needs repaired.

I've been on the hunt for a reliable car place ever since my mechanically-inclined father-in-law moved out of state a couple of years ago. I had heard good things about another auto place in Old Hilliard, but left severely disappointed both times I gave them a shot.

So with my car randomly shutting off while driving (a pretty scary thing), I was on the hunt for a place that would get me back on the road without completely raping my wallet. That is how I stumbled on Doug & Pat.

Long story short, this place is amazing, and I will continue to go here until they give me a reason not to. The work was done within 24 hours, when I was planning on being car-less for at least three days; they have great communication, and kept me updated on all the stages of the car repair; and they even did some random extra work (installing an air filter) while still coming in under the original estimate.

And speaking of the estimate, when the guy that called me (sorry, I forget who it was!) was ratting off everything that needed done (faulty sensor that they had to order, burned out turn signals on both sides, etc.) I was sure it was going to be AT LEAST $500. I was completely shocked when it was around half that. They definitely don't screw you around like other garages.

This place is phenomenal. When I left with my car, it was truly the first time I had work done at a shop and didn't feel like I was taken complete advantage of. No matter how great or little your car knowledge is, go here...you'll be treated the same either way.

I brought in my 99 Honda Accord with 180k+ miles on it as it was running really rough. They gave me a very fair estimate (I compared to 2 other places) for just what I needed. They did a great job explaining what the repairs were, why they were needed and what would likely occur if I didn't go through with them.

They were very down to earth and not at all pushy. When I decided to go ahead with the repairs, they turned the car around in a day and the price came in under their estimate. Best of all the car runs better than when I first got it and clearly has some life left in it.

The shop is tucked away in Old Hilliard and it's really Doug and Pat who work there. I highly recommend checking this shop out as they treated me fairly and did excellent work (support local businesses).

I was all so lucky to run into Doug at an auto store in Hilliard- he was so honest and trusting I followed him directly to his shop. From there they were the most kind and trusting and gave me a real diagnostic without trying to accept one penny. I absolutely have faith in people and this crew is worth mentioning!!! Good people, small town respect. I will absolutely reccommend them to anyone and everyone and will use them anytime I can.

Doug does an amazing job and is an honest mechanic. If you need work done and want to deal with knowledgeable mechanics who won’t rip you off then I would highly recommend. Make sure to get an appointment as soon as possible as the are busy.
