Our car broke refused to start while parked at the nearby convenience store and Discount Auto Repair helped us by first trying a jump, then helping push the car to the shop and diagnosing. They stayed after close to get the car back to us and he was very honest and straight forward. An excellent experience and I would strongly recommend this business to family and friends for any auto issues. One of the best automotive repair/shop experiences I've ever had.

Mohammad is very nice man, owned business here for 14 years. He walks around the car and shows you what he has replaced or worked on. He will offer you the right way to do an oil change but let you choose if you want to be cheap in whatever area possible. It is just him working on cars but he is communicative nonetheless. A regular non synthetic oil change is only $30. If you can support small business owners I recommend coming here! I returned after doing different business with him and respecting his ethics at that time. He also occasionally has vehicles for sale that are used.

Needed rear driver's side brake drum cylinders replaced before heading out of town for the weekend. These guys were extremely flexible with my schedule, offered recommendation to replace both cylinders while the car was in their shop (both of my existing cylinders had 267,000 miles on them and badly needed replacing). They adjusted my parking brake as well, all for a very reasonable price.

Their service and friendly customer service exceeded my expectations. Will definitely bring my car back again when it requires repairs. Thanks so much!

This place is perfect for me! It literally takes these guys only 30 minutes max to give an oil change and there is no scheduling needed. I just drive up, and the job is done pronto. I usually come here for an oil change every month, because I drive fairly like 2 hours a day for 4 days. So far, they did not bother me with any extra costs. The price for an oil change here is fairly cheaper than any other place. The customer service is also great, because I have never felt uncomfortable at this place. As a 19 year old female, I do not know much about cars and auto repairing, but I do know this is a great place to get maintenance with no hassle.

This place is great. Joe and an employee I see there often are great. Everything about this place is great. I had Joe examine a used car I was about to buy and he found an issue that was not critical but the dealer knocked off an additional $180 when I told them about it. If you don't want the run around of being told you "need" to have something fixed from mechanics/dealerships lying through their teeth and want honest advice with honest pricing this is where you need to go.

Been coming here for years. Even bought a car from them back in november. Love the car and got a free oil change. The owner is a great guy down to earth. He'll do what he can to help you out. I cannot believe how nice these guys are. I came in to get an oil leak checked out - they told me that my oil filter was not installed properly and they had tightened it. I was also told there was no additional leak they could find and that they would check my oil level and top me off - I would only be charged for the oil. My oil levels were fine because I had just put some in that morning.

I got out of there in less than half an hour for $0... and there was no oil under my car this morning. They could have had me over a barrel. They could have told me just about anything was leaking and I would have believed them, my car is 12 years old. The next time I need an oil change, or any service I will be going back. Discount Auto Repair has a customer in me from now on.

I brought my car here for a repair and received the best service from the owner as well as a good price. It ended up being $300 less than what one of the chain mechanic shops quoted me. I will be returning for any future car service.

The more I go here, the more I love the place. Like others have stated, this place is a breath of fresh air from traditional chains, who try to upsell you into repairs that your car might not even need, while tacking on ridiculous labor and parts fees. To be honest, I only go here for oil changes, because, even though I know nothing about cars, I'm lucky enough to have a father-in-law that can do any repair for just the cost of parts. However, their oil changes are ridiculously fast, and ridiculously cheap. I got sick of having to scrounge for coupons every few months just to get an oil change cheaper than $30. Thanks to Discount Auto Repair, I don't have to any more! The fact that it happens to be the closest auto shop to my house just sweetens the deal. As long as they're in business, they can rest assured knowing I won't be taking the family cars anywhere else but here for oil changes!

Great place! Easy to deal with, polite, fast, good prices, explains the problem to you clearly, no BS, can't ask for more from an auto shop. Diagnosed my clutch master cylinder as the issue quickly for a very reasonable price!

Great mechanic, explains what's going on with your car in detail, would highly recommend to anyone needing a repair and not wanting to deal with the BS you get at other places. I will certainly be back.

There seem to be two listings in google for this place...the other listing has several reivews...all positive. I posted this there - but wouldn't want someone seeing only this listing to miss it.

Free tow. No Diagnostic fee...and replaced my starter in a few hours. Price was fair and reasonable. No more than what I would have spent at autozone for a starter and my backyard mechanic to do it...and here I got a lifetime warranty.

They were friendly, fair and best of all - got me up and running in to time.

What a break from the big boy auto repair chains. Joe gives you that home town feel. Before I moved to Columbus 18 years ago I had a Mechanic like Joe. Glad I have that trust and honesty from a person that loves to work on cars.

I use this place for all my auto needs. Friendly staff. Reasonable prices. Just dropped car off for new brakes and transmition cooler line leak. Highly recommend this place.

I was on my way back to Cincinnati and my car broke down. Found them, and couldn’t have been happier. They squeezed me in, took care of my car, were super friendly and quick and got me back on the road.

He was able to fit me in within the hour for an oil change before I left town. Quick turn around. I’ll be back. 👍
