1 of a kind place that makes you feel like family. No hard sells for things you don’t need or want but rather they take the time to fit you into your needs. Even with all the kids they patiently work through everyone’s needs. Zach and Yuri are the best we have found.

Awesome ski shop! Joe took the time to answer all my questions and make sure my boot fit was just right. They have a great selection and knowledge staff that is happy to explain the reasons behind product recommendations so you feel confident you are making the right purchase. Highly recommend!

Very accommodating! I went in to get my skis tuned up for a trip within a few days. They were willing to take care of my needs in the short time frame that I gave them. I ended up walking out with new boots, jacket, pants and gloves. No hard sells, just a friendly welcoming experience. I will go the Valleywood for all of my ski needs.

So pleased with our experience at Valleywood! Yuri was so helpful! I came in for boots & skis 12/31/20. He was patient with me explaining the features of the boots and skis getting the right fit. The shop was busy but not crowded. Employees were very friendly. I was so pleased with my experience, I had my husband come in to get fitted for new boots and skis too 1/2/21. We are happy to support local small businesses. Can’t wait to try them out this weekend!! Custom fit boots will be so much better than renting at the slopes. Peace of mind to know there’s a boot fit guarantee too!

A solid shop full of solid people. Hooked me up with a great kit. Nice to see that most hardware had a wide price range. Great recommendations and explanations. Most importantly, they’ll have you lookin steezy regardless of your skill. Sheeeeesssshhh!

UPDATE: Pick up day comes and I got stuck at work with no way of leaving early, and I'm panicking that I won't be able to get my gear since I have a flight early morning. Valleywood owner himself came to my rescue and opened shop at great inconvenience to him. Valleywood truly cares about its customers!

I came here earlier this month to get some pants and new goggles and the staff helped me out tremendously with finding the right items. I came in later to have them set my bearings up correctly and they did it in no time. I will definitely be doing the rest of my business at this shop. It's a great place!

The people are what makes Valleywood such a great place. They are so knowledgable about ski equipment and the few times I've been looking for something specific, they knew exactly how to help me. I have never felt pressured to buy anything and felt like they were more interested in helping me find what was right for me. After having only been in the store twice last year, they remembered my name the first time I went in this season. Who does that these days??? Service is so personable... feels like family! Staff was very friendly and passionate about their jobs. Came in looking for a new pair of snowboard boots, the man I worked with helped me choose a pair that fit perfectly. Really wish I knew about this shop years ago!

This place is just awesome. The owner tries to get you the best deals, fits you perfectly, and performs all the necessary services extremely well, and for a fair price. They even have a selection of used gear, which I personally had a good experience with. Go here instead of a big corporate chain, or a ski store at the resorts. You'll be glad you did.

We have been buying ski and snowboard equipment at Valleywood since they were in Centerville, which must be 30 years! Yuri and his father before him want people to love the sport like they do. They have put us in the equipment that matches our abilities and where we ski. We are price sensitive, but have been disappointed with internet purchases of gloves and things. This shop is very family friendly and has everything for kids.
