Kroger

This Kroger in Kettering, OH is as delightful as their donuts. I would like to recognize the pick up employees that have to be in the frosting cold wind. I would have said his name, but there were no name tags. The food is always as ripe as a tropical mango. Thank you, Krogers.

Excellent Kroger. Been shopping here for years, great prices. Staff is amazing, especially the cashiers. The Starbucks staff is spot on and perfect at their jobs. Thanks!!

EMPLOYEE RECOGNITION!!

I was in your store yesterday morning, and I have never had a cashier as friendly as Donald nor as fast. Most of the cashiers nowadays take their time and huff and puff when they have to ring a big order but Donald was happy to do it with a smile on his face, he made conversation and was so friendly, which you never get going into Kroger anymore. John also was very helpful and assisted me with pushing a car out to the car, and he was very happy to do so as well. You can tell these two gentlemen are happy to be at work and it shows and I hope they get recognized because it is earned, especially today when the work ethic is horrible and this generation rubs off on most people and the rest of them typically get lazy with these young ones.

Thank you to Morgan,Sam and other employees including front end manager. They were very patient and nice when I held the line up for a long time on the evening of 2/10/24.I was so embarrassed. I was using the Anthem benefits card.I always use grocery pickup,but needed a few things. I'm in alot of pain from a spine injury,so it affects walking.
I wish Anthem would approve online grocery shopping.Thank you Kroger employees from an old 18 year Kroger employee. Looks like professionalism is still no. 1 with Kroger!!!

I usually go to Meijer but sometimes you can find some really good deals and I generally stick with just buying them at each store.

EMPLOYEE RECOGNITION

I never thought I'd be leaving this Kroger a 5 star rating, but last night was a good experience souly based on one employees actions.

While checking out at self scan, I had my 11 year old with me, the attendent, Troy got pinged to come over and check ID, and he started joking with my son as he was
helping.

My son laughed and kept a smile on his face as we left. In the parking lot, he tells me, "When I get my first job, I want to be like that guy! He was SO nice.. Do you think he jokes with all the kids like that? He was cool."
😂

It was simply a friendly interaction between strangers, but it was very admirable in my son's eyes ☺ thank you for showing him some good in the world today!

Then, while putting groceries away, I hear someone yell, "Ma'am!" And, it was Troy saving my day! 😂 He jogged out to my car to bring a bag I had forgotten at self checkout. The bag with my fancy adult drink! He joked a bit and went back in after I got his name to write this review.
(Which BTW in case Kroger sees this...get a better option available for customers to leave recognition for good employees..that should be something you want to hear!🙄)

So the bottom line is Troy's awesome! He was SO friendly and respectful to complete strangers, understandably since we're their customer BUT he went beyond the line of bare necessities and got myself and my son to stop, focus, and enjoy the moment for a second, and that's a lot!
Also I am like 95% sure that if it had been the typical self scan attendent guy I normally see at this location, that bag I had forgotten would have NEVER been brought to my attention unless I came back in or called. Which granted it was my mistake, but that brings me back to Troy, surpassing expectations with small and simple acts of kindness.

I go to this store more then I like. But, hey, my sister works here.

This is my husband and I's local kroger. We want to mention Aaron that works in the meat department is extremely pleasant and friendly and went above and beyond to help us find the vegan impossible burger as the spot on the shelf where they usually are was empty, he went to the back to find some and he did, which made our day as we were really craving the impossible burger today 🍔

I’m a frequent grocery pick up customer and cannot say enough great things about their service! From great produce selections, to efficient & kind pick up experiences, and even proactively offering discounts/coupons for any minor inconveniences… they’re truly great and do their best to go above and beyond. Much appreciated!

Really great employees and fantastic service. I go in and I go out. Just a really great grocery store, all the fresh produce an more!

There's a couple regular cashiers that are awesome. Makes for a pleasant visit. I can 99%of the time find wait I needed.
The guys in the meat section are good too.

Shoutout to the guy with the star studded black toboggan on that was putting sale stickers on the soft taco packages today. He went out of his way to help me find what isle prunes were in. Thank you for your patience. You rock! 😆✨🤘

I love this Kroger's on East Dorthey lane always get a large fruit tray here and the fruit 🍓🍑🍓 is always perfect looking and cut perfect give whoever does the fruit trays like this a raise they deserve it thank you so much!

Nice, clean and cool building with friendly staff and good deals with their Kroger card if you have it. Not too crowded and a enjoyable quiet shopping experience overall. I will definitely recommend this Kroger on Dorothy Lane in Kettering if you want quality product at decent prices and refuse to give the rich *** Walton family any of your hard earned money and business because Kroger really cares while the Walton's don't care at all, that's why they keep raising fees for check cashing and other services that disproportionately affect the lower income households then ask for you to help end world hunger when they could do more to end world hunger by selling some of their exotic cars, boats and airplanes but they are too greedy for that so they push more of it off on the little guys which is apprehensible.

Our Kroger is well stock most people our really friendly and helpful

The staff at this Kroger are really great. Shelves are always stocked and when items are missing they either find it for us or offer an alternative. If there is a price difference of some significance they have even reduced the price of the alternative to match the original item. This is our grocery store.

My family uses this Kroger location more than other stores. It's, conveniently, around the corner from our home. The employees are always friendly & helpful. This is always very important to us. However, this Krogers is not one of their marketplace stores. So, keep this in mind when choosing to shop there. It does have a gas station there so you can fuel your vehicle with your shopping points. And if you wish to pick up a floral arrangement, they have a lovely selection there. You won't be disappointed.

Aaron in the deli department did a fabulous job helping me figure out my Thanksgiving plans and I was very impressed he had only worked there for a month! Give that guy a bonus! He was well informed, motivated to help, friendly and genuinely warm! Thanks Aaron! A job well done!
