This place is fabulous! If you or child are in to any type of superhero, action figure, old skool Star Wars, legos, random nostalgic memorabilia and toys (they had an old Raggedy Ann doll and a Cabbage Patch Kid both still in their box/wrapping but not in perfect condition which-I assume-made them completely affordable and, in my opinion, something so meaningful and buyable without feeling like you couldn’t touch them w/o having to worry about devaluation. (I could be wrong about the value of these dolls in particular to the majority but for me they were amazing… haha)
My 6yr old grandson wanted to show me this place as it’s his “favorite store” and I had no idea what to expect. But I was intrigued the second we stepped inside!
For example, he is obsessed with the Ninja Turtles…there was every type of Ninja Turtle toy, action figure, their vehicles, their “enemies?!”, their “other good peoples”, a couple of random back packs/bags, posters, movies… just any and everything old and new with regards to the Ninja Turtles.
There are new (and old) expensive collectibles and there are gently used very very affordable action figures for every day play and then everything in between! But. Actually, this is pretty much the truth for every type of action figure/superhero/sci-fi/WWF collection you can think of!
PLUS some random music/band/Hollywood type items. Just keep in mind this is very much a previously owned and or collected inventory of goods but everything was so clean and well maintained and well organized!! Albeit there was a ton of inventory new and in original boxes too!
Also, there’s an amazing collection of extremely authentic and high quality Halloween type masks and such that should be mentioned as well!!
Finally, there are tons and tons of dvds, movies, old comics TONNNNS, and books/magazines!!!
Everything in the store was so very reasonably priced. My grandson chose some type of superhero big mechanical hand and forearm type unit that fitted over his own hand and arm and made tons of lights and sounds… lol (Gigi’s not much of a tv/movie watcher…) but he loved this toy… it was new in a box still and was marked $23…. I chose a few small items (old band stickers..) at the front counter while we were wrapping up our visit and the guy working was very helpful and super cool but as we set our choices on the counter to pay, he simply said “umm $20 is all I need!” What a way cool very nice place to shop!!! I recommend everyone check it out because you’ll be surprised at the number of items you find interesting and affordable!!

My 11 year old and I went to check out Game Runners over the weekend and had a lot of fun looking through their collection! My son kept getting excited every corner he turned, but nothing compared to that Pokémon collection in his eyes lol. I had driven past Game Runners quite a few times and never really had intentions of going in, however a random power outage in the area and a google search of “nerd stores near me” led us here 😂 and so glad it did! We will definitely be back to browse some more. This is a great stop if you’re looking for a unique item, or gift for a collector and prices seemed fair to me for the most part, some things a little high. May not be the best location if looking for handicap accessible shopping as there’s some tighter spaces and stuff can get kinda cluttered.

True to its word. It had plenty of video games, comics, and toys. But it also has an interesting selection of masks. Friendly staff and the owner never complained when we mosie around after closing time. So pay attention to when they close.

I would say this has been a wonderful experience, I went in there earlier today and was helped by Jimmy who was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful with answering questions and getting things I was going in there for. Ended up getting a couple games and would definitely recommend going here again. Keep up the good work and stay safe out there. Proud of you buddy and Remember that if you ever get lost those fireflies will guide you the way.

Always a great place for the assorted geeks or collector in your life. The gent that owns it is unfailingly polite and friendly. The hours listed here may not be accurate

This place is awesome. Total throwback to my childhood. They have a little bit of everything nerdy here. Came in to check if they had any older game systems or games. They had plenty to choose from. I ended up buying three Sega Genesis games at a good price.

This is a great store. My daughter always finds her favorite toys from the past, and the staff have always been pleasant to deal with. I have never sold anything to them, but the nostalgia factor will keep me going back on a regular basis to buy.

First time visiting today, and believe they said the location had just recently opened a few months ago. We were instantly greeted with a kind and warm welcome, as well as in awe of the almost overwhelming inventory of awesome collectables and more on display throughout the store! Definitely one of the nicer and more impressive Collectable/Game shops we've been in, with a wide variety of interesting attention grabbers, that are already being mentioned as "must haves" by my kids (as well as myself) 😉 we will definitely be stopping back in and recommend any and everyone else with a soft spot for these type of interests to do the same. You will not be disappointed! -Exited Nerd, aka Wolvie-Dad!! 😜👍

Stopped in to look around for three first time. Owners are friendly and personable. There are TONS of toys, video games, and nostalgia from the 70s,80s,90s. It's like walking back in time to a giant toy store. Awesome place!

Amazing store for the action figure enthusiasts in the area. Some of the prices didn't reflect value, but that's to be expected. They can't be expected to know what games are only worth 10 bucks but are still charging 30. That's my only complaint in an amazing store. I'm lucky I stumbled across this really cool store

Always a great selection of Retro games and WWE related memorabilia. Always treated great when I come in and I've been thrown a couple of good deals from the guys behind the counter.

There is so much to look through that it can be overwhelming but in a good way. The workers were very nice and were open to negotiating on price since I was buying multiple items.

I love all the selection and the pricing is very reasonable. I will make it a point to visit every time I'm in town and would recommend it to my friends that come to the area.

Nice selection of interesting finds! I'm far from being an expert in every type of collection they carry, but the prices overall seem very reasonable. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly and helpful, and the owner really cares about making sure customers are happy. I've visited a good number of game shops in Kettering/Centerville area, but will definitely return to this one.

Well first off let me say this. They have a lot in a tiny area. From collectible high end models, to cheaper toys, to video game sand movies. From stuff in the 90s to modern, Marvel, DC to transformers, Pokémon, and neca figures. It's really interesting there, you just gotta go in and look for yourself. There's more in there just in and out you could be in there a hour looking at everything. The prices weren't to hateful either.
