Really great experience!
Took my 2 boys in for a cut while home for the weekend from college. It's obvious right away that these guys are pros who care deeply about their craft. The time they take with you to understand what you're looking for and the attention to detail during the cut is something that you just don't get at most other places.

Great barber. I can't recommend him enough. I've been looking for someone who can fade me up but also keep a big scar / bald spot on the back of my head covered uo . Best cut I've had in many yrs. He took his time ,took pictures of the back of my head to show me and made sure I was comfortable with what he was thinking. He did great and even gave me a free beard trim.. thanks so much. Cant wait for my next cut.

I've been visiting this shop since 1988, first as it was in downtown Kent, and currently as Frazier's since Kent went mad with power and booted a bunch of local businesses out of the downtown area back in the day. All I can say is that Klay and his gang are the best barbers I've ever experienced, and hanging in his shop on Saturdays has become something of a family tradition 😆. My 17 yr old son has now become a loyal customer, so my mission is complete, 💯! Keep it going, Klay!!! Semper fi!

I moved out to New York about a year ago to attend Kent State and have been nervous to get my hair cut out here and try a new barber. Today I went to Klay for the first time after not getting a hair cut since I was back home about 5 months ago. Klay did a great job with my hair cut, took his time, and was very personable. I will definitely come back hear for another great hair cut experience. Thanks Klay!

I went to this place 2 hours before closing and I was told there were 3 other ppl and that he couldn't give me a cut in time I was skeptical and went to the reviews of this place and saw that some other ppl experience the same thing so I just went to the barbershop down the road and get my cuts from there but before I leave KSU I decided to try this place one last time and there's only one person and I was able to get a cut and from that moment I just realize why this place takes a long time because the barber takes serious attention to detail while making his customers feel comfortable he even trimmed my eyebrows free of charge and gave me a sharp skin fade haircut that my ROTC instructor ask me where I got the cut! This is one of the best barbershop I been in a while its kinda hard to find since its not on booksy where most ppl look for near barbershop.

My boyfriend highly enjoyed his experience at Frazier's =) Plus i approved so that's what really counts 😁 His haircut was really great and clean cut. He also mentioned the atmosphere was fun and upbeat. A place that works for everyone!

Update - still feel the same after going here for several years. Get there early because it fills up quickly. If you have to wait, it's worth it.

Klay did a fantastic job with my hair and the shop was very clean and well kept. I'm also a trans client and he was incredibly respectful and made me feel very welcome. This was the best experience I've ever had in a barber shop and Klay has earned himself a new regular

I called to see how busy or how long of wait there was. Clay told me that it was a walk in business and that there was not a wait at that particular time as I called in the morning, I drove straight over to get my haircut. He took the time and and gave me a great haircut at a way I felt was very reasonable price. I not only got a haircut, I got a new barber. Thanks Clay, it was great meeting you. I loved the clean lines with the straight razor and look forward to bringing my son for his haircut.

As an international student, it is tough to move from one place to another and find the right place to get a proper service. This man is super chill and really easy to talk to. I just had to show him a picture and he did his magic. Super satisfied with my cut, and I would definitely recommend.

I've gone to Klay's Barbershop for years. He's one of the best barbers in the area. Patrons are treated to a warm shaving cream and straight razor finish, making sure your haircut looks sharp. Klay often has other talented staff on hand for your hair care needs to assist his work. His prices are also reasonable.
