Marc's Stores Kent

We like shopping here. Seems to be one of the only stores left where you are not forced to use the self-checkout.
There is usually only one lane open when we come, and the same guy is always working the register. He works very hard and I hope he is appreciated there. He is a great employee.

Go in for just a few items and come out with a cart load.
Always great deals on seasonal items for less. And a good variety of international food items that are hard to find elsewhere.
The employees are always super friendly and have always been helpful if needed.

My family grew up shopping at Marc's and while I liked the stores, they always seemed unorganized and somewhat dirty. However, this store is by far the nicest one I have been to. Well organized and staff are great! I do much of my shopping here because its one I'd the few stores I leave without spending a small fortune for groceries

Love shopping at this Marc’s. I’m in there almost every day checking out the new deals especially in the close out section you will always find a good bargain. Jennie is a manager that works there and she is awesome!! Always working hard and puts her customers first!! This Marc’s deserves more than 5 stars ⭐ keep up the good work guys!!

In the past month I have had two eye surgeries. Since I cannot drive, my sister has been driving me to appointments. She offered to stop anywhere I might need to go since we were already out. Both times, she took me to your Marc’s in Kent so that I could pick up baking supplies for my holiday baking. Both times my cart was filled to overflowing and both times I checked out at a register with a wonderful cashier named Shirley R.

She was so patient and once I explained to her that I was not allowed to lift much weight she packed my purchased Marc’s bags very carefully. Both times she called for a young man to carry out my groceries and showed concern as to whether I would have someone at home to help me unload. Both times, the young men who loaded my car were ( one was named John and the other I believe was named Steve) so kind and courteous! They had me get into the car out of the weather while they unloaded my cart and refused the tip that I offered them respectfully.

I had never shopped at this Marc’s before but it will be my Marc’s of choice in the future. I worked in retail mgt. over 40 years and appreciate a clean, organized, well stocked and maintained store. But... more than anything else I really appreciate the level of excellent customer service that I received from Shirley and the guys!
Please give your mgt. team at the Kent Marc’s a BIG YAHOO!!! They are doing a great job in their hiring choices and their training! This is a Marc’s that puts the customer first! Thank you!!! And... thanks Shirley R.! You are wonderful!!

When you walk in there is a young man who’s name is James he’s in charge of the carts and they are always clean and sanitized he is always polite and friendly . Then at the deli counter everyone behind the counter is friendly with a kind word . And if you can’t find something someone will take you to right where it is even if there busy doing something , cashiers are all friendly and very quick to get you bagged and checked out I can’t say enough good things about this store . Thank you ....

I live in Akron area and have been to all of the Marc's in Akron and surrounding area...this by FAR was the nicest, brightest, cleanest and neatest Marc's I have ever been in...all of the employees were nice, helpful and friendly...had a chance to speak to the store manager to tell him what an awesome store he has! Even the items in closeouts were neat and tidy! All food and produce was fresh and in stock..and the one item that I was looking for (TJ Farms hashbrowns) the gentleman stocking the cold food section stopped what he was doing bc he said a big pallet had just came in and he went to look...most people would have just said "no we are out". Kuddos to this store and store manager!

I love Marc's because they have competitively lower prices than other grocers in our city! They used to only accept cash, check and Discover cards, but now certain stores will even take Visa and MasterCard branded debit and credit cards! I can buy a lot of food for so much cheaper than our other local "big bird" store. Occasionally, I will shop at the other grocer, only because I may want one or two items strictly for their convenience on the way home from work. But for major grocery shopping, I will stick to Marc's because they carry the brands I like for less than what I would pay at another grocer.

I LOVE this store. BEST prices. Marcs is the best! Get your produce and other inexpensive stuff here, then save the things like laundry detergent for Walmart. The bill coming out of Marcs is always small. Huge basket of groceries, and a way smaller bill. Also the Kent Marcs is SO much nicer than the Stow one (of course since it's brand new). But Stow is good too. So glad they opened this Marcs in Kent.

A very nice, well stocked store

Ever since Marc's started accepting cards as payment it's become my main grocery store! Great selections and fresh produce. They also have lots of knick knacks if you're into that sort of thing.

I shop at Marc's all the time!!! Love Marc's stores !!! I have 18 Great Grandchildren and I'm always looking for Bday gifts, ,Xmasgifts,andevery other holiday gifts for them ,plus Marc's has so many neat thing for home ,

I LOVE this store!! Affordable prices and cashiers are all so nice and helpful. They are cheaper than acme and giant eagles too.
