The Confessional by The Lost Abbey

Love this place. Very good location right in Cardiff. This place is dog friendly and great even if youre not a beer lover. They have lots of good options and very friendly staff to help you decide. I went with the beer flight so I could try a few things. I got to design my own flight. I loved not being stuck with any unwanted beers.

The best brewery in the area. If you like beer you have to come here. We come here a lot when we are visiting and for good reason. The beer is so good, the atmosphere is great, and they are dog friendly (the whole square is). It’s never too rowdy and the beer is always delicious and well crafted. They also have nice clean bathrooms and TV for sports people.

Everything that Lost Abbey does is great! Small taproom in a popular Plaza with great staff. The beer is always great.

Great brewery right next to The Waverly and Seaside Market in Cardiff. Clean great brews, cool church-like interior and seating. Bartenders were super kind and helpful choosing the IPAs. Will definitely be back!

Incredible little pub with some of the best beer in San Diego!!!! You can also get food next door at the pizza joint, East Coast, which is great. One of my favorite places, cannot recommend enough.

Loved our first experience at the Lost Abbey!! So, I'm a big Hop Concept fan. Whenever the cans roll up at out stores in the OC area, I always make it a point to get a pack. So since we were in the area, made it a point to visit! Nice taproom, plenty of seats at the time of our visit (early Monday afternoon), very chill & relaxing place (you can bring your own food), kids were fine here & didn't complain :) I enjoyed a few flights (lots of choices!) & also bought a 6 mixed IPA pack to-go! After I checked my online receipt, there was an error (charged 2 full pours instead of the tasters...tried calling their number but only got voicemail so I'll try sending an email). Aside of that error (and I hope they can right that little wrong), love love love the brews & location! Cheers!

They were definitely happening on a Friday night. Staff were friendly and on top of things. Great beer - you really can't go wrong no matter what style you prefer. If you get the munchies you can bring food in from the neighboring businesses. All in all it's definitely worth a stop.

Nice little place at Cardiff. Adjacent to East Coast pizza. Nice collection of beers. Great for unwinding.

Always a few outstanding beers on tap and more in cans and bottles to take home if you don't fill a growler. Good pizza next door that they'll bring over to you or you can hit up Seaside Market for some Cardiff Crack. What more could you ask for?

Great tasting room! They have Lost Abbey, Hop Concept and Pizza Port all on tap, so there is a great selection of beer. Dog friendly too.

One of our favorite breweries in San Diego! A great variety of beers and a fun atmosphere. Plus Barbara and Chase always make us feel at home, couldn’t ask for anything more!

Very polite service. I went for their more mild beers, like the blonde ale. The tea sparkling beverage was good too.

The Confessional is an amazing place. First are the amazing and delicious beers. Top tier in my honest opinion. What really makes The Confessional amazing is the staff being led by Barbara. Service is amazing.

Altogether this makes for a location that is also a community builder. My go to for a great time.

This is a really great place. Not only is the beer top notch, but the staff is really friendly. Next time I'm in the area, I will definitely make it a point to stop by. The Serpent's Stout is one of the best stouts I've ever had.

Could have more none beer options. I love the white tea.
