Delicious chicken briyani!!! Perfect big portion, wonderful flavor and spice!

I love Indian food, and today I stumble onto a gem. My god the food is delicious, the chai tea is amazing. I got a few items to really give you guys a true picture of the quality and authentic Indian cuisine this restaurant offers. Garlic and onion nan, goat curry, shrimp biryani, shrimp tandoori, and the chai tea. You will not be disappointed, I will definitely be back! Highly recommend! If you are traveling through New Mexico you must make Gallup a priority and pay these guys a visit.

I was a bit apprehensive because of the truck stop location but the food and service were both very good. Lots of food was going out of the kitchen for delivery too. Fresh and well spiced.

We got the chicken curry, chicken saagwala, and murg radda Punjabi (all boneless chicken and mild) with sides of rice and tried their different Naan breads. Their food is amazing! Out of all of the Indian restaurants I have been to this place is still the best stopped in today 4/21/22

I try to dine-in if feasible as they treat their customers like royalty. As for the food, it was the first time I'd eaten authentic Indian cuisine. Hands down, it was the best food I've ever had. I tried the same dish at other restaurants but there is no second.

I got the Saag Paneer, which was one of the Vegetarian Options. I really enjoyed it. I also tried some of the chicken Masala and it was also really good. I would consider this restaurant a hidden gem. I would definitely recommend coming here if you enjoy all sorts of food. It may seem a little sketchy, but it isn't and it's totally worth it. It would've been nice if they checked on us a little more, but they still have good service.

Great find in the middle of Gallup. We were so glad to have found an Indian restaurant.
Food was really really yummy. Quality and quantity were both great.
And the price was really inexpensive.
We got the dal makhni and the Malai kofta. Both of them were done really well.

Travelling, hotel in Gallup and looking for proper (vegetarian) food, we found Bombay. What a gem! The place was loaded with truck drivers waiting for their takeaway, but we could sit down and dine in. Portions are excellent and the taste is good. Mild really is mild, so if I where to eat there another time, I’ll opt for spicy! Service is great and friendly.

Stopped and tried this after seeing it was at a truck stop, and will now be a regular!
I had the chicken biryani and also wanted to try the chicken tikka masala and kheer. Everything was so good and fresh and different than places I’ve tried back home. Tad pricey but worth it in my opinion. Highly recommend. Also got the mango lassi

Delicious food in the most unsuspecting location.
If you don't mind eating at a truck stop then this is well worth it.
You choose the spice level you're comfortable with. Good menu choice.

I was driving cross country and was so surprised to see an Indian restaurant in the middle of nowhere. I was curious to see how the place and food was and I am so happy I stopped by. This place is a typical punjabi dhaba and the food was so good and authentic. The people at the place are super nice and friendly too! If you are driving across NM on Route 66, you have to stop here and have some great punjabi food. I recommend getting roti, chai, kadi pakoda!

Was looking for a vegan option better than the beyond burger at Denny’s... delighted to find this place!! Incredible quality Indian food (and I am British - hard to find many good Indian places here in the US! Used to being spoiled at home) - SPICE, FLAVOUR - I got the baji & eggplant curry, 10/10. Also when I mentioned that I was vegan they catered by removing yoghurt sauce from the baji dish. These guys are a bit unfortunate to have their restaurant right next to some service station toilets (makes the entryway smell bad), but you can ignore that if ordering and picking up (as per COVID)

Don't let the outward appearance fool you. The food is superb. Butter chicken and garlic naan bread was absolutely delicious. I will definitely be stopping again!

Most authentic and the best dhaba style food that you can ever get in the USA.

A must visit if anyone is driving along the route.

Came for to-go while staying at a hotel nearby. Had lame curry and Indian tea. Full container of tender flavorful lame meat which exceeded my expectations. You know you won't miss up as many truck drivers line up for pick up.

Delicious food friendly staff stuffed paratha curd on the side.

The best butter chicken I’ve had anywhere. Garlic Naan is great also. I’ve never tried anything else.

There might be faster ways to get home, but I am sure to take this route every time I drive cross country just so I can hit up the best Indian food in New Mexico. Don’t sleep on truck stop diners!! Best tikka masala of my damn life. The food was so bussin I forgot to get gas !

A diamond in the rough of a resturant with good service and excellent food and awesome music. I highly recommend the Murg Shaan-E-Delhi with garlic naan and indian chai tea. I will definitely go back to try something new, knowing that each plate will not disappoint.
