El Sombrero Restaurant

Food is always delicious but the waitresses didn't seem to like their jobs and they sat around at a table laughing while they ignored their tables and weren't showing concern for their orders nor the length of time to get the food then I was told they didn't have what I ordered so my son and husband got to eat and I was expected to wait for another 20 mins. I refused to wait and chose to not eat. Asked if I could get a refill on my chips and salsa and drink as a compliment to my order was told no. I think they need to train their waitresses better but the food is always delicious.

Quaint and a relaxed atmosphere. Quality of service is good. Friendly staff. Portions are plentiful. Menu options are excellent and kid friendly.

Been coming here when in town, however, never noticed or have they ever, served shredded beef? Your only option is hamburger meat or chicken. Guess it's been awhile. Food was edible & quick to eat. Water is delicious! Idk if it was the ice or what but had 2 glasses. Never have I ever. Lol. Service was nice. Lots of people going in & out so I say it's a popular place. Prices is up there for a quick meal but nice to be in town.

Very Deliciouso! My 1st time eating here again in like 2 years. I have lots of child hood memories of eating here with my family. Memories as far back as 30 plus years.

We Always eat here passing through town and it never disappoints!

Made a stop while driving through and we are sure glad we stopped. Huge portions for the price and great service. I tried a sampler plate and everything was good, but the best was the seasoned beef on the taco. Love the flavor of their beef. If I would have known how great the beef was seasoned I would have gotten every item with beef. My only complaint is that there was a little to much cheese on everything. Loved the made from scratch beans and rice. Yummy, tasted homemade.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Food was honestly so good. The only thing we didn’t care for was the rice. The beans were beautiful. If you order the stuffed sopaipilla, be warned, it’s absolutely massive. 3 people with healthy appetites could share it!

Upon entering, my husband & I were greeted warmly. Our beverage orders were taken & given menus to browse.

The chips & salsa were delicious…the salsa had a minor spicy flavor, still good.

I ordered the #31, consisting of a cheese enchilada, rice, refried beans ($10.95).

My husband told our server to “surprise him. Whatever you recommend”. She was hesitant. He reassured her she can’t go wrong 😁

She brought him I don’t know exactly what it was, I do know there was a tamale, taco, stuffed green pepper with a side of rice, refried beans, two tortilla shells AND it was spicy! The way my husband likes it. The price for that was $16.95 and it was worth every penny.

Our server did an awesome job and she deserved the generous tip 🙂

The price of the soda/soft drink(s) are $3.15 each with free refills.

Oh my God, this joint is beyond incredible. The best tamales and chili rellenos anywhere. The owners prepare the hatch chili's themselves.

I was glad we Stopped here and enjoyed dinner with my mamá. The delightful server was amazing and went the extra mile giving us hot water for our tea on the trip ahead of us. Thankyou!

I've been here twice and no complaints. The food is great with good portions. The service is superb and fast. The place itself is kept neat and clean both exterior and interior.

We never have less than 8 ppl when my family gathers for a meal. I love how they can accomate that many people so quickly! The food is always delicious and the service is pretty much always like a well oiled machine! They do a great job at making u feel welcomed and appreciated! Keep up the Great Job and we will continue to Recommend and Repeat our Visits!! 👍🏼
