Nice family restaurant located near I-40 off of old Route 66. Great Service and the Navajo tacos were huge and we split them and we’re plenty full afterwards. Had the Apple and a blueberry pie with ice cream. Enjoyed the Native Navajos that were able to sale their wares while we sat and ate.

We randomly found this restaurant on Google and had breakfast here. And we are glad we did! It has a very authentic feel and food, a must visit while in New Mexico. They have carne adovada and green chili, which were hard to find anywhere and these are two of the top choices for foods to try in Mew Mexico.

The best part of it is that they support the Native American locals. We bought really nice souvenirs from local artists (there are sellers at the restaurant). If you’d like to support the local artists, make sure to bring cash with you, as most of them don’t have electronic payment options.

Attaching photos of our delicious food and one of the pieces of artwork we got here. 💕

This restaurant has been in business a long time and for a good reason! The owner and staff really know how to run their business. All the food I've tried is very good. The owner was friendly and walking around greeting our table and everyone else's. Visit this iconic stop on Historic Route 66 the next time you are in Gallup NM.

Took a little while to get our food i think. Google is asking for a review of a restaurant my wife and I ate at months ago. They gave us a free dessert for the wait and I thought what we ordered was delicious. Great job everybody. 👏

The servers were very friendly and attentive. It was also a nice touch to have certified Native American artisans offering their artwork tableside, but politely! The food portions were large enough for two!!!

First time dining here with family, service was good, food good, the vendors that approached our table was a bit excessive. I promote buying local but it was a bit much. Other than that everything else was great!

Love stopping at Earl for breakfast whenever we are on a road trip. Fast service, good food and hot coffee! Often times there are sellers outside with jewelry and other miscellaneous items and also sellers who go table to table to try to sell you items too.

Finally stopped there for lunch—- delicious!

A staple in Gallup. Locally, family owned diner with good food and fast, friendly service. Large portions at fair prices. We enjoyed a Navajo Taco. Ask them to split it when you order - more than enough for two. Found a new must stop when going thru Gallup. Stop at Duke Fuel next door for fuel and nourishment for the road.

2nd visit and even better than the first a few years ago. Richie was an amazing server and he took the time to talk us through the local cuisine. We ordered on his recommendation and it was superbly fresh and exciting. It was food we would never have ordered because we didn't know about it. Ask for Richie he's the best!!
According to my friends that I travelled with the vendor's that sell the jewelry have very very good prices. They have seen their wares in other stores for three times the price. So please consider them if you are passing!

They have local artist come around the tables selling artwork. You can get good deals from the artist. Enjoy!

Food was amazing and great prices we had a variety of dishes from American to Mexican and it all was delicious. The owner and staff were all hard working and fast, very much appreciated! I love the people that came by to sell jewelry and other items, I purchased a few peices and that was a plus I loved them.

Passing through town and stayed at a hotel. Went here for an early dinner around 5:00pm. The Monday special was Country Fried Steak, so I ordered it. The meal came with green (or pinto) beans, split pea soup (or salad), potatoes (your choice), and a roll to go with the HUGE flattened, breaded, and fried steak.
The soup was served first and it was absolutely amazing. I had never before eaten split pea soup so I was worried about how it would be. Oh my goodness! Get some if it is available. The green beans were specially prepared, not just poured from a can and heated and were very good. I got mashed potatoes with (white) gravy and they were good. The steak was definitely something that I would recommend as it was perfectly cooked and very tasty. This was an awesome dining experience as I was solo and sat at the counter bar! Highly recommend stopping here for a meal.

Super friendly, fast service. Charming environment. Fruit was fresh, hash browns tasty, and coffee was good. I am glad we stopped. Walking through the doors was like walking back on time.

First time going to earl's I didn't enjoy. There are a lot of vendors approaching the table maybe a little too much as we were eating our meal. But other than that, everything was great.

I love the people and the people who come around to sell their art and crafts. I found early Christmas gifts at affordable prices that were unique and beautiful. The staff at the restaurant were very nice and were very welcoming like family or an old friend.
