Steak Express

Im so glad we finally tried this spot. The food was great. Service was quick and the workers were very friendly. We got an oreo shake, chicken strip meal, and the everything steak meal. It was all amazing!!!!

There were three of us who came for lunch. We all ate the steak and everything Philly Steak sandwich combo. The food came out hot and well prepared. It all tasted great. The guy behind the counter did a really good job on getting our order particulars right. I found both the onion rings and fries were really good. They do have good fry sauce. All in all I would highly recommend and am looking forward to returning again.

Great little place to grab a meal. Friendly staff, fast service, tidy and quaint indoor dining area. The menu is a great mix of your usual burger restaurant items alongside their own unique stuff, such as the nachos and English potato bites. Perfect for nearby residents. I've never tried the drive-thru, so I can't rate that as accurately but I assume it is effective.

Have visited #SteakExpress several times here are a few comments from each visit and some of what I’ve tried.
Enjoyed a #PhillyCheeseSteak sandwich, #onionrings, and #butterscotch #shake from Steak Express. Located in the old Stan’s location. Wonderful mushrooms and veggies in the sandwich, besides the meat and cream cheese. Onion rings are battered and fried crisp. Nice cool shake to counterpoint the savory sandwich. Definitely a go to place, I never went to the place on the west side but I’ll be going to Steak Express again!
I’ve written about Steak Express steak sandwiches before and their yummy #onionrings. However this time I ordered their #LocomotiveBurger. Which I enjoyed more than expected. It is like it was made for me. Mushrooms and onions piled on the burger with a nice sliced pickle. It had BBQ sauce on it, which is what I often put on my Burgers when I make my own. I decided to avoid the starchy carbs of yummy fries or onion rings, and went with a side salad. The side salad was larger than expected, made with a pile of mixed greens and lettuce. Sliced cucumber and tomato, and carrots. Steak Express always exceeds my expectations and they have never disappointed me.
I’ve also enjoyed many flavors of shakes, often their shake of the month. I’ve enjoyed #ClamChowder, a nice change from their burgers and cheeseSteak sandwiches, and their Cod #FishAndChips all have been very tasty.

My first time here! The drive-thru was quick during lunch hour today and the staff were nice. I got the signature sandwich “steak and everything” and I would definitely come back! The fries were really yummy too!

Good Philly sandwiches and great fries and onion rings! So good. Everything made fresh. And huge thank you to the front man Kristian? He was so friendly and helpful! Great customer service!!

Heard good things about this place on Facebook, so we decided to make a journey to it. It's a fine establishment with good food. The star of the show in my opinion was their English chips and buttermilk dipping sauce that tastes just like European mayo that you get out there. The steak and everything meat was seasoned well with pepper, but the veggies could have used more salt because the rest was sort of bland. Their fries are average, but my wife loved the pumpkin shake. Wife thought the smokestack sandwhich was kind of bland and dry with not enough bacon. Still a great place to go and not too bad pricing.

So I eat at A LOT of places and this quaint diner was ON POINT. Everything had the perfect ratios of sauce to veggies to meat; the bread was perfectly toasted and the English Chips were light crisp and not greasy at all. Both of our meals made the clean plate club. In fact it was so good I almost forgot to get a picture! I will definitely be coming back here!!

Hands down steak express is the best steak sandwich of all times. This is my husband’s favorite place. If you want slow roasted well seasoned food come here!! Family owned is always the best places to eat!! What are you waiting for!!!

One of the best value meals in Provo-- and GREAT FOOD - Can't tell you which sandwich is the best, they have all been good-- as well as the Fish N Chips -- GREAT VALUE, GREAT FOOD -- THANKS -- not as fancy as the "uptown" places, but sooo good

I was told I should check Steak Express out so I did. Great cheesesteak. Lots of options. We didn't get a shake, but those looked good too. Nice, clean environment. Great service. If you like cheesesteaks, you should give them a try.

Fun little place in Provo, good environment with some decent priced food and authentic service. Good place to go with friends, fills you up better than any of the fast food places around it, and it’s cheaper too

I'm definitely going back four more. The shrimp basket was one of the best I've had in Utah. My wife had a chicken sandwich, which she thoroughly enjoyed.

Oh yeah, great service and solid food and reasonably priced. Great place. Would go here often for sure, especially outside the plasma donation place. You gotta come try this place, it’s very homey.

Opening day review.
The steak & everything combo with added cream cheese.
This is way better than Charleys cheese steaks.
The meat is nice and tender, the vegetables and cheese soft and succulent. However I think some more seasoning would help make the sandwich even better (maybe Cajun seasoning or some seasoning salt).
The fries are great on their own.

Delicious, fresh, and affordable. I always get the daily deal and it never disappoints. I have had Philly cheesesteaks, hamburgers, and chicken sandwiches and they are all high quality. Their fries are my favorite by far as well.

We discovered this place accidentally last night when we were looking for a place to get a treat after an event at BYU. We tried the sundaes, root beer floats, and banana splits - all of which were fantastic! The quality of the ice cream is excellent and the prices are very reasonable. A few of us ended up ordering sandwiches, too, when we realized we hadn't eaten dinner. High marks for the patty melt and smokestack sandwich!! We loved it so much that we went back tonight and this time we also had the onion rings, which are the best ones we've ever had, by far!! We went through the drive-through this time and even after the drive home they were still the crispiest ever. The service is friendly, food is prepared fresh, prices are excellent. We are huge fans!!!!!
