Best donut shop on coast hwy around Del Mar. Perfect combination of quality and priced correctly. I am from Kentucky and we don't make cake donuts like you can find on the west coast. A vanilla cake with sprinkles is non-existing in the Midwest. I love California Chinese-owned donuts they are what makes America great. So while on vacation in Del Mar I went everyday to find this donut. There are a few shops around that get passing grades, but this was far and away the best of them. They have a classic selection and get the basics all right. Cake consistency - perfect. Glazing - perfect. Sprinkle quantity (not too much or too little). A+

Solana Donut House has the best donuts in San Diego!! Always fresh and delicious...growing up in North County San Diego, I have been to all the donut spots. Solana Donut House is the best!

Love this place! This hidden gem is way better than Dunkin and Krispy Kreme in my opinion. Donuts are made from scratch and fresh every day and are very inexpensive. I recommend the donut holes 😋

I grew up in Solana Beach, and this place has been a constant source of goodness through the years. Specifically, the Apple Fritters are the best I've had.

Better than VG's for sure! Did a taste test and everything. Always fresh, always delicious. Blueberry donuts here are always bomb.
