This is an incredible place! Been coming here for 4 years and it never disappoints.
Be aware though, most sites have zero hookups.

Caught my first wave and felt high as a kite (not drug induced) for weeks!!!

Most of the surfers around me were kind to this squid. Except one old Mexican lady in her 40’s 50’s in a pink wetsuit who yelled at me for not knowing what I was doing.

Lady. Chill. I’m newwwwww. Be nice.

The parking lot overlooks the cliff side of the beach.

There is a looong set of wooden stairs that lead down all the way to the beach.

This is for the weekends,
Typical surfers have a state park pass and leave around 10 am when things get really crowded.

There isn't a lot of parking, so I recommended to come early (6-8) and leave before all the other people arrive.

If you are coming in late: 10-12, the surfers are leaving and you might have a chance, but there are also all of the other families that come in around this time... So good luck.

Evening? Well the surfers are pretty much gone but now there are the people coming in to see the sunset, so if it isn't a cloudy day....lol.

Recently though, there are a lot of more surfers in general and people coming to this spot.
