D Street Viewpoint Park

Beautiful beach in Encinitas right by shops and restaurants. Easy enough street parking. Walk down a large flight of wooden steps to get to the stone covered Beach and see excellent views of the Sandy Bluffs facing the water. Surfers have easy access to be able to get out to the waves.

One of my favorite views! A good place to watch surfers. It’s located on a dead end. You can usually find parking along the adjacent streets. There are benches at the top which make it a great place to have a meal and take in the beautiful view.

Small area. Not a normal park to play at. But amazing spot to watch the sunset. Also has stairs for beach access.

Beautiful beach, rocky but so picturesque, and the sound of the ocean washing up on the shore was mesmerizing.

Beautiful view. There are quite a few stairs to the beach but plenty of platforms to stop and take a rest if needed. The beach was not crowded at all. We enjoyed all the smooth rocks.

Beautiful view at the beach. Easy access by the stairs straight down to the beach. We met a lot of people enjoying a beautiful sunset and took a lot of gorgeous photos. One of the best viewpoint in Encinitas. Highly recommend for anyone! Martin & Kristina

It is a nice set of stairs to a very rocky beach. Looks really cool at night especially just after a storm.

Love, love, love this view!! Great place to start a beach walk during low tide. Just, please stay away from the bluffs. They are not stable. And I still see so many people sit right under them.

What a really cool place to visit! My kids loved it here. They could spend hours playing in the sand and rocks. Would definitely come here again.

Great views from the lookout. The perfect spot to walk to with your significant other, or to take out-of-towners to see the ocean.

Sun Diego!!! Great hidden spot for locals... great restaurants are near by too.
