Cottonwood Creek Park

Beautiful little park and courts. Super busy weekend mornings around 9 am in the tennis (/pickleball) courts but it usually drops off a lot as the day progresses. There's a nice gazebo for parties, bathrooms, basketball half court, and large grassy areas with a little natural perimeter. Even though it's right off some busy roads, it's quiet and spacious.

Clean and spread out. There are multiple structures to climb and play on. There is also a nice walking path that goes through the park. There are lots of things to do and see.

Many different kinds of trees and birds to see as well.

This is a cool park tucked away with a pickleball area in the corner of the park beyond the playground & restrooms . It didn't seem like a lot of parking for how big the space was.

Nice little tucked away park for a quick little play time. Parking lot a bit small, but it is a small park. My grandson was very entertained with the variety of play equipment. Will definitely go again.

Fun park for the lil ones easy to handle plenty of space for them to run and nice lil trail next to creek . Don't go to late might need repellent. Love the teeter tooter meant for small ones with big appetite lol first time on one and she was able to do it on her own. City of encinitas still #1always for family fun in the sun..

Nice place to bbq. Nice bathrooms that are cleaned on a regular basis. Right next to the Encinitas shopping center.

Sorry guys,, no photos this time. For being in the middle of suburbia, this part surprised me with how nice it was, how clean, and how remote woodsy type it was. It almost felt like I was back up in a Seattle area park. It's not that huge of a park but it has a creek and plenty of trees that hide it from residential area in the north, the commercial area to the East and South, and roads all around. You can't even tell that your near all that, once your in the park. Very cool. Has plenty of grassy lawn areas, nice shade trees, open areas, play ground/ fitness areas, super clean bathrooms and even pickle ball courts in the back. Very cool. A great place to just chill for lunch or a picnic when I'm in the Encinitas area and don't feel like hanging out at the beach.

Beautiful park in Encinitas with a playground, 2 basketball nets and a tennis court. We played Pickleball here and the people are friendly. There are usually 4 Pickleball courts and one tennis court.

The park is beautiful. Nice shafes picnic area. Paluground for younger kids, grass area for football, soccer, catch. Clean bathrooms, small creek for boys to catch bugs and play in the mud. Only complaint is parking, to small, there was an event going on down the road and there was no parking.

Fun Pickleball court. Plenty of parking. Easy to get to off of interstate 5

Awesome park! It has a big parking lot, plenty of grass space to sit or throw a ball, has tables and covers for shade. The park is great for kids and there is a bathroom which makes it family friendly!

Wonderful park! Clean and well planned for childrens' enjoyment.

Love this park, it's it favorite! It has a great big playground for kids and a climbing rock, tennis courts, basketball court, big grass fields to run in, picnic tables, all set next to a tiny creek that has some bridges to walk over.

Plenty of well maintained play equipment that the kids love to play on. Always full of friendly children and parents. An excellent place to spend a morning or afternoon.

Great little park. Has tennis and basketball courts. New playground. Usually clean bathrooms. Theres a gazebo and a decent amount of open grass.

Tucked into the corner of Vulcan and Encinitas Blvd. this park has beautiful trees, clean bathrooms, tennis and pickleball courts plus swinsets and a basketball court. I hosted my son's 11th birthday party here since they have plenty of tables and even a mountain to climb. It sounds big but it's not, very cute and well-maintained. There is an attendent that live on the gorunds which make for a very safe enviroment even though there is some homelessness, no one ever makes you feel uncomfortable.

Nice park but lots of homeless hanging around. Great ice cream shop, Cali Cream, is across the 101 and a cool little rock garden is down the street from that toward the beach.

Quiet park with plenty of parking, public restrooms, hiking trails, playground for different age ranges (including a faux climbing boulder) and tennis courts.

Love it as kids have space to run, to play and parents can rest on grass
