Renaissance Milwaukee West Hotel

Love this place and always stay here when I come to town. They have only gotten better and better. The rooms are nice and newish. The lobby and restaurant has a great vibe. This stay I actually noticed that the staff was way more friendly and customer service oriented. I got a have a great day from the front desk as I was walking out for work in the morning. Got a great greeting when grabbing my complimentary coffee in the mooring. Must be the front desk manager. She really listens and made my stay very comfortable. Really appreciate it when you are traveling for work and have to be away from home and your family.

I have been staying at Renaissance Milwaukee West for almost 50 nights over the past 12 months. The staff has come to greet me by my name when I walk through the door! I think my repeated stay at this hotel says enough. I love the friendliness of staff, including the housekeeping staff, front desk, and lounge employees. I can’t find anything bad to say about this hotel. It is located in a very convenient location, just a short drive away from many restaurants and only 15 minutes away from downtown Milwaukee. The rooms are always clean and the housekeepers always leave me a note after they clean the room. I stay here for business and will continue to come back.

Hotel staff was nice. Rooms and decor match Renaissance brand. Fridge did not function great in room. Marriott platinum elite status was honored with breakfast voucher.

I travel often so staying in hotels is normal for me. This hotel is fantastic, great size rooms, gym is great, the only thing I would complain about is the lounge. The breakfast, snacks are not good. If they improve this I would say this would help one of the best hotels I have stayed at.

Thank you Veronica for the great customer service. My daughter was traveling for the first time from Arizona to Milwaukee. I called the Renaissance in advance of her arrival to ask if we could send something to her room congratulating her on her job promotion. Veronica suggested Edible Arrangements. I went online, and sent a gift to the Renaissance. Veronica said she would make sure my daughter got the gift. My daughter called when she got to her room, and was very happy with room, location to shopping, and everything with the hotel. She especially liked the fruit platter which came shortly after checking in. Everything went very well. Thank you VERONICA and all the staff at the Renaissance. JOB WELL DONE!

Had a great one night stay here. Room was clean and new, beds were comfy, room seemed rather large and bathroom was nice too. Easy to recommend. 👍

We were in Milwaukee for a week visiting family and friends. Being that we are from the area we normally stay with family but due to unforeseen circumstances we needed to get a hotel this time. The Renaissance was a great pick for location. Not having made a reservation in advance we stopped by to check availability and the customer service was terrific. Sapphire was very accomodating in helping us obtain a room. But this was no ordinary room it was/is fantastic. From the moment we entered the room we knew we made a great choice. The decor, the furnishings and the view from the corner room were beautiful. The spa atmosphere of the bathroom left us wanting to spend time in our room and not go out in the city. This of course was not a problem because we had a dining and living room areas to accommodate our family. I also had to work remotely during this trip and the dedicated work area was great to handle my work. We have one more day in the city to enjoy our stay. In the future we will definitely come back when we visit Milwaukee. Oh by the way the bar within the hotel has amazing drinks. Thanks Sapphire and Chad (manager) for making our first stay at the Renaissance such a wonderful experience.

We were there for a private dinner/reception on the 12th floor. Staff was great. Hors de hourves were good. As was dinner. Great view.

Just checked in. Leticia (front desk) is great and has a great approach and gave me a corner room. Nice to be treated so well and thank you! Just got here, but nice to feel valued.

Close to mall, and a highway. Only downfall I was on the 4th floor and was woke up to some club music. Concierge was a nice and on the 12th floor. This is where the gym is as well.
Located right at the mall. And easy in and out. Close several restaurants within walking distance.

Very posh looking. I visited an event scheduled in one of the conference rooms; quite elegant!

Beautiful venue. Nice atmosphere. Very warm and welcominf. For a large crowd the servers couldn't keep up and food was cold.

Chosen location for wife and friends to begin the eve of Birthday celebration 🎂 . The plan was that I would come there when their celebration was over. All reports indicated that a good time was had by all.
By the time I arrived, the "Queen "was in the best of spirits." We enjoyed the time together ❤ ☺ 😍. I was smitten with the art and the video presentation regarding their vacation packages. The artwork and themes along with a super staff. It is a bit pricey, but, worth it 👌.

The team at the Renaissance was great. They were helpful and most importantly patient. As a couple planning a wedding we are juggling many things so the team and Lisa were extremely patient and always followed up. They made planning our wedding easy and stress free.

One of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed in throughout the Milwaukee area. Definitely recommend chucking this place out.

Hosted a wedding weekend and reception at this hotel. Great location, lots to do and places to eat. Getting a room block was easy, they were extremely accommodating. Our suite was beautiful. The staff is very welcoming. Someone came around to see if we needed more towels. Check-in is at 4 which irked some of our guests, but some guests rooms were ready earlier. Everyone loved their stay. The restaurant on site is delicious as well. I look forward to my next stay there!

Update: 2/8/2023 stay
Last time I was here, I posted about some issues I had. Manager called and asked to give them another try. This time it was much better. Staffs were friendlier and informative. Room was clean and great view. Happy hour at the hotel restaurant was great and way to relax and fill empty stomach. I did get food voucher, but that wasn’t why i gave 5 stars. I gave 5 stars for hotel doing what it promised to give staying guests. Clean and comfortable room to stay. Restaurant with great food and friendly environment. Welcoming front desk staffs and nothing was missing in the room that I have to call front desk to ask for.

1 star (should be zero) for Manager never calling me or attempt to reach me as front desk said manager will after morning meeting. Never get to address issues I encountered during my stay.
0 star for sleeping with only 2 bed sheets and very thin yellow blanket. To prevent being freezing, I turned heart up and breath extremely dry air. Very uncomfortable stay. Never brought bed comforter as they promised. House keeper never placed one.
1 star for front desk person who checked me in never mentioned this place have club level and I have access to.
As being Ambassador status level, I have never ever gave any hotel such poor rating until now.
I do stay over 1/3 of year In Marriott chain, but will definitely share my thoughts of this with my fellow traveling colleagues.

All I can say is WOW. By far the nicest hotel with the best staff in all of the Milwaukee area. Not only is it a newer hotel it is also very unique, not the same old boring hotel rooms. I'm Lifetime Gold and I checked in for a weekend stay and was offered and upgrade to a beautiful high floor corner room with floor to ceiling windows and had a great view of the sunset. On the Saturday morning I had a very minor issue with my room that was nobody's fault. I went to the front desk and asked about it and they were so very apologetic and immediately offered to move me to another upgraded room. I said that wasn't necessary as this was very minor and I could just get a replacement item for my existing room. The manager insisted on upgrading me to an executive king suite. Wow. This room was amazing. Easily the nicest hotel room I've ever stayed in. The soaking tub was just what I needed. They also insisted on giving me points and a gift certificate for the restaurant for my troubles. None of this was necessary to make me completely satisfied so they defintely went way above and beyond to make my already awesome stay even better. I will defintely be staying at this hotel for all of my future Milwaukee visits.

We stayed here for our honey moon and the rooms are beautiful and we were able to get a good deal on our room. The hotel staff was friendly. It's located next to mall and dinning if you looking to shop while your in the area. The pillows I will say are a bit uncomfortable but we enjoyed our stay and we had a nice Giggle about the llama pictures in the elevators as our daughter loves llamas. We would stay again
