This little gem of a place has an amazing atmosphere. Those that like the small diner look, will not be disappointed when coming to Just Joel's. The staff is very friendly and it seems like they really love working there. Food is amazing! From the grilled cheese sandwich to the chicken club you will love every bite. The fries and sauce complement their food very well.

This little cafe is so awesome! Super friendly staff. Joel was even there cooking! My breakfast was absolutely delicious. You can tell they make some of it from scratch. LOTS OF FLAVOR. I will definitely be back! Excuse my dressing on my food in the picture.

A MUST VISIT!! The cutest little diner with the best atmosphere. The entire staff was so welcoming and kind; we were given enough space to enjoy our meal but were well checked on throughout the entire visit. The food was phenomenal! They have standard breakfast fare but also outstanding specials. Don’t pass on the hashbrowns, we haven’t had hashbrowns this good in a long time! The playlist of 50’s and 60’s was a joy for the entire table including our toddler. Very accommodating for the whole family.

All right, let me tell you about this place. This place shocked the heck out of me. I got these breakfast fries thinking it was gonna be like what you would get anywhere else.... WRONG!!! this behemoth of a plate got put in front of me, and I couldn't have been happier!!!

10/10 gonna recommend and will definitely come back!! The staff is super friendly, the cooks are awesome, but the food?!?! just phenomenal.... You HAVE to try this place, hands down!!

Good food, pleasant staff. Their home fries are amazing, with crisp vegetables in the potatoes. May be a country bumpkin, but who knew toast could have such fun presentation? BTW the fruit jam was delicious!

Great place for breakfast and brunch! Great portions, reasonable prices, and friendly and attentive staff. And, of course, the food was excellent! I had the Sir James (or smthg like that) omelette, our table also enjoyed the biscuits and gravy, and a grilled cheese. The fries and fry sauce were also excellent. Everyone absolutely loved their food! What you need to know: extremely limited indoor seating, it's like an old-school gas station or something, it's got charm, but it's tiny. Also, the pies are good, but not amazing.

The staff is super friendly. Very busy place but well worth the wait! Ordered a club sandwich on sourdough bread. Sooo good. The fries were perfect! Crisp on the outside but melts in your mouth. Will be sure to go back. Tried the biscuits and gravy - yummo. I am not a big gravy person but by far theirs is the best I have tried. The biscuits are huge. Ordered the 2 biscuit order and their biscuits cut in half are what 4 biscuits are elsewhere. Worth the money and they melt in your mouth even when re-heated.

What a find! Our hotel had free breakfast included but we really didn't want a buffet style experience so I got on Yelp - found this place and sent a text to our friends - meet us there! We were not dissapointed! There was a bit of a wait, but it was worth it. The menu has lots of choices and everyone loved their selections. I had the La Bamba omelette - oh my - street tacos in an omelette - I can't even describe how yummy. Mr had something called the Raven, and I can not believe he even came close to finishing it. The food was amazing. The atmosphere is diner meets drive in burger stand - I think it might be an old A&W location. We ate outside and it was perfect. One ironic thing I have to point out that says this place was meant to be.... we were dining with old friends who live in Quincy, WA.... we live in Olympia, WA - this place sits between Olympia and Quincy Streets.... we could not believe it!

Got to Just Joel’s at about 10 and it was packed had to wait in my car for someone to leave. They have odd hours and close at 3. Everyone is crammed in there pretty tight. All of those problems seemed to disappear after being greater by the staff, once I ordered our food it got to us relatively fast, and man o man was it delicious!! I got the beautiful struggle that’s what’s pictured. Great food, small building but a funny, witty and great local restaurant to dine at.

Just Joel's is our go to when we want good service, good vibes and good food in Kennewick. Get there early as there are only 4 tables and a counter that seat about 8 people. They open from 7am - 3pm and serve lunch, breakfast and pies all day. We have eaten here numerous times and every time it's been great! Last time we were here was in the summer time and in the 100's. There was a gentleman outside waiting for the bus, one of the cooks went outside and gave him a cup of ice water. The people that work here are wonderful and is a reflection of their food. On this visit we ordered a breakfast burrito and a La Bamba Omelette. The burrito has a nice even flavor of hash browns, ham, sausage, eggs and cheese and it's huge for only $9.69. The other dish we ordered was the La Bamba Omelette. They have a nice thin omelette that wraps around like a burrito filled with chorizo, onions and cilantro. It comes with a side order of home fries or hash browns and toast for only $9.69. We paid about $30 for our meal plus unlimited coffee refills. Our server was very nice and came to chat and check on us occasionally. The meal lasted us till dinner time as we had to drive 4 hours to get home.

I was so blown away by the amazing customer service and delicious food. We ordered an omelette, deluxe burger and scrambled eggs. The amount of food served and quantity is amazing.. Their homemade jam was great. It’s my new favorite breakfast place. Definitely recommend it over any other relaxed eating place. An extra note, the music was great !! It is a small and cozy place:)

Absolutely loved my breakfast... and I can't wait to get back there for more. Great food, with great service, and a way too funny menu to keep you entertained. In fact, both our Grand-kids had "I don't know" for their breakfast.

I wish I could nominate this place for a Michelin star. Have eaten breakfast/brunch at "5 star" restaurants and have paid triple the price but those places don't have what this place does. Cozy little place tucked away in Kennewick, looks like a 60's drive through. The very lovely 'Ember' took our order and promptly brought us 2 hot coffees. Didn't have to wait too long before food arrived. Eggs were perfect covering the hashbrowns. Hashbrowns had a delightful crust without tasting greasy. Three different types of links, the Portuguese sausage was juicy and bursting with flavor. After breakfast I had to try a pancake despite being stuffed by ample food. This pancake was so fluffy you could wipe tears with it. Will be back again for sure!

Just Joel's = Just Awesome

I had heard the buzz for a while. My mother in law and grandparents love the food. My wife loves Joel's humorous memes on Facebook. Today was the test for me...

I had the Gary Z all meat omlete, hashbrowns, and a side of country gravy. My wife had their famous grilled cheese and tomato soup. The omlete was really good. The hashbrowns were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The country gravy was so good and really put the meal over the top. My wife had the grilled cheese. Pretty basic lunch, right? Wrong! This was no kids menu grilled cheese. The sandwich was stuffed with cheese, bacon, chives, and goodness. The bread was parmesan crusted.

A+ Joel! We will be back.

I liked the car-side service! This salad came recommended by Joel himself and not only was it delicious, it was also a huge portion of food. And look at that fancy egg topping 😍

This place is unreal! Swung through on an whim and thank goodness we did. The food was amazing, the service was stellar. I’d recommend the omelettes and or the pancakes. Very Delicious and you won’t regret it!

There are a few items on the menu that stretch the boundaries of comfort food, like deep-fried mac and cheese. That looked like a gut bomb.

I stayed with the straightforward two-egg breakfast with link sausage, linguisa (Portuguese sausage), and rye bread. This ordinary breakfast was turned into extraordinary because the execution was amazing. My hat is off to the chef and cooks. Everything was perfectly cooked!

If you are in the tri-cities, this is the highest standard to which all other restaurants need to be held to. Do not go elsewhere. You will be disappointed if you want the best American breakfast.

Breakfast was great!! Everything was great food, service and cooks. Will be back and will have to try the pie next time. Bacon apple crisp sounds yummy 🤤

One of the best local breakfast restaurants I have ever been to next to IDK. Was totally surprised by the size of the business. Did not expect it to be so small and so packed! The wait was not so long as the waiter sat me next to a very friendly regular called Denise. Loved the conversations with Denise, the music, the ambience, and most of all the food! Oh boii, I will say that they are DEFINETELY NOT PICKY WITH THEIR FRIES! I had so much fries next to my steak that I did not finish them, neither did my sister! The steak was perfect, the gravy was amazing, and the eggs were cooked just like I love em! Totally worth the wait too. Not a big place so your order might take some time. Price was $35 for two of these so it was not too bad but definetely cheaper than Denny's or IHOP. Will be coming back but I hope they can expand their seating indoor and outdoor as well because they're too busy!

Finally got our chance to have breakfast at Joels. We had the Joel's Benedict and the loaded biscuits and gravy. Everything was phenomenal from the service to the food! Highly recommended you try and bring a BIG appetite!
