Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Newport News Airport

Currently staying here while on a mini vacation and I love my experience here so far. The employees have all been friendly and welcoming. Free Continental Breakfast has amazing selection and best part is, I'm not far from the beaches, airport, interstate and the Beginning of American History!

I've been staying there for the past month or so and when i tell Its been good well its def not my home but its my home away from home. The staff here are wonderful, the housekeeping are super good always on top of it and very pleasant. The manager is a nice man kinda quiet but the one that def stands out the most is my Fav Beth❤ she is one of workers that u know should own the place because she knows everything but besides that she def makes it feel comfortable. Theres many reasons why folks end up in a hotel and to each its own but this woman Beth and her sister as well, are what makes folks come back because she never judged anyone and respects everyone to the T. She always has a smile.on her face and she just one of them employees that is a hidden treasure. Thank u for everything Beth u have been amazing. This employee not only will I say wins the employee of the month but of the year!! N Lord knows if she's not getting paid well ya better be careful cause she's worth a lot. No many employees like her. Value your staff at all times. Well ones like Ms Beth...

Hotel is simple and serves it’s purpose. Check In receptionist was nice and very accommodating reassuring a non-smoking room. Definitely is a small size room so don’t expect a whole lot (hence MICRO) but personally that wasn’t an issue for my stay. Didn’t experience any bugs or any rudeness or truly anything bad my entire 3 day stay unlike other comments. I do recommend travel etiquette such as checking for those things and just briefly wiping down and spray everything down with disinfectant and Clorox wipes upon arrival but room smelt clean and like bleach when entering. Breakfast was offered and seemed very well. Several restaurants and fast food places nearby as well as busch gardens and water country. Overall the hotel served its purpose and was clean, friendly , and accommodating. would definitely return.

Well-run hotel and courteous staff. I have stayed in Microtel three times in the last year and it is an outstanding, well-run property and the staff is extremely friendly, helpful and professional. I have not had a negative experience in this hotel so I give it 5 stars. The rates are among the best in the area and obviously I factored in cost in rating my stay

Rooms were very cute! Small but cute and had everything you need for a comfortable stay (you're not moving in). Truly the only thing I didn't love was how close the bed is to the bathroom lol!

This place is so super cute! They made use of all space. I had reserved a one queen bed for my daughter and my self. Had the usual fridge. Microwave, desk area.
To our surprise a cute, wonderful window seat built over the ac unit! It quickly became My daughters favorite spot to read and watch tv!
As for B/fast, my daughter and I are satisfied with coffee, yogurt and bagels. The B/fast was spot on for us. Also avail were assorted juices, waffles, muffins, and cereal.
The staff are very friendly and helpful.
I would not hesitate in staying here again next year!

For me and my guest because it was cozy for the most part. The staff and owners were courteous and professional. The owners makes sure the grounds and inside were always safe as possible. And the HOT WATER AND WATER PRESSURE IN THE SINK AND ESPECIALLY THE SHOWER WAS ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC AND ONE OF THE BEST THAT IVE USED !! And at a a very good price. Easy access to the Interstate and all of your possible shopping needs East or West at a short distance.

After driving almost 15 hours and having a horrible experience at the hotel we had previously booked these amazing people really came through at 3 am for us. Very clean, polite staff, very reasonable rates. It's in a nice area. The rooms are not elaborate but they are exactly what we need to sleep comfortably and feel safe with our children.

Awesome location, walking distance to every thing and places we needed...and then some, clean, small breakfast but that was ok, receptionists were very pleasant and patient...room was just what we ask for..

We stayed here for the weekend, staff was awesome and friendly, the rooms were amazing, comfy and cozy. Breakfast in the mornings were really good too!

One of my favorite places to stay whenever I'm in the area. The rooms are always clean and cozy. I like the location as well. There's a Wendy's right up the street and a few other restaurants in the area.

We stayed over night due to some car trouble and was to tired to drive so we decided to stay with this Hotel and the rooms were absolutely wonderful from start to finish. I would highly recommend the Microtel Inn & Suites!!!

This is the only hotel I know that actually has housekeeping cleaning up. Toilets, sink, carpet, bedroom floor…. It’s all kept very nice…

This place was great! Great location, very polite and informative employees and the room was clean and very well prepared me and my family enjoyed the breakfast very much. I would definitely recommend this motel to anyone coming into town.

I have been to this location twice. They were very accommodating, the rooms are clean and the check-in/out process was seamless!! I will definitely go back!!

The staff is amazing...you will be greeted with a warm welcome...provided a safe and comfortable stay...out of all the hotels iv ever stayed at, this one is the best!! Thank you all for making us feel like family!

Decent accomodations. I couldn't get the toilet seat to lift though. It kept coming down. Other than that it was fine. No real problems.

Love the room the beds are so comfy omg I wanted to stay in bed all day lol love this hotel it's clean and nice staff I would definitely come back again trust me I'm not lying when I say those beds are the best!!!

Clean bed, warm shower, plenty of space, nice staff, free wifi and cable. Couldn't have picked a better hotel for the price.
