Top notch service. Customer service during pick up and drop off was excellent. I used rental service on Apr 12-14. The customer service rep exercised patience as my situation was a little different. She smiled every minute . That meant a lot to me. When I returned the vehicle around 5pm, another rep greeted with a smile. Asked if I enjoyed the service. Wished me a great evening. I have strictly used National for almost 2 years now and have always had a positive, stress free experience. The staff at MLB are always helpful and courteous.

Great experience with National (as usual), customer service was wonderful, I was upgraded at no cost and the vehicle was perfect for my needs. I have used National for over 30 years and have no intention of ever changing to another provider.

5 star service. Everyone at the Melbourne Fl Airport location are nice and friendly. No wait time! The car was very clean and ran good. Easy drop off: I didn't have to go inside. I recommend renting a vehicle through them.

While there is no Emerald Isle here my experience was still excellent. When I approached the counter they took my name, checked my ID, and gave me a selection of cars to choose from. I picked the one I wanted, was handed the keys and paperwork, and walked right out to get the car. I doubt I was at the counter for over a minute. I've never had a check in experience go so quickly and smoothly. Even if all info was entered online most companies seem to make you go through all of it online, especially the fuel, insurance, and add-on sales pitches. Not here! The car was new with less than 5k miles. It was clean inside and out, with a couple extra sanitizing wipes inside for good measure.

Returning the car was also very easy. I just parked it in a National spot, handed over the keys at the counter, told them the mileage (you'll want to note it before going inside) and that the fuel was full, and was off to security to catch my flight.

Since Enterprise & Alamo are the same company and staffed by the same people at the same counter I would expect a similar experience with them at MLB. National just happened to be the best deal I was able to book.

I have rented many cars, usually for work, but not always. I chose to use National for the rewards and selection and the Melbourne location has earned 5 stars!

In the past, I have had a salesman/employee there actually charge me for a better car selection when I had EE status which I did not realize until the rental was over. That person is not there anymore and in the last few years the staff seems to have only gotten better and vehicle selection had really improved since the COVID sell-offs and influx of international flights.

I can second the other comments about very fast car pickup and car return I will keep using them and at MLB exclusively for travel needs!

I now only use National for car rentals. They have the best reward program and I have always received great customer service.
As an Emerald Club member I enjoy the ability to select from several different models of cars when renting - this is a big bonus to me. In the bigger airports I can skip the rental counter completely and just go to the National lot to select my car. In the Melbourne, FL airport - which is on the smaller side - I had to go to the counter. However, I was greeted quickly and pleasantly by the rental agent and was on my way in under two minutes.

The check in counter was awesome. I had a compact car reserved for one day. They gave me an XTS!!! I have never driven a Cadillac, it was smooth and had acceleration. I found the young lady after returning the car and thanked her. She is a great representative for National. I wish I knew her name to give her the proper praises she deserves.

Nobody does customer service better than the National Car Rental team at the Melbourne Airport in Melbourne, FL. I travel a lot and when I rent from another state or city, I'm always reminded of why I love renting from the MLB team instead. Jeff and especially ARIELLE, Kathy and Ashley under Mike White's direction are the absolute best! They make me feel like family, I never have to wait, service is fast and they always put me in a GREAT vehicle. Last year, I switched rental companies to save a few bucks but I quickly came back to National because of the consistency of quality vehicles and because Mike and his team make me feel valued....and not for nothing, they are the nicest group of people ever!

Love National car rental. A few years ago my company switched to another company for our business needs and it was NOT the same. National has much better and wider variety of cars / trucks. The service is wonderful and the people are always top notch professionals. I so so so happy my company went back to using National. Also their rewards program is second to none. Cant say enough good things about NATIONAL!

Great Customer Service in MLB And MIA.

I prepaid for 1/2 tank of gasoline but with the economy car we drove the consumption (182 mi) was a bit less then 1/4 tank. The National Rep who check us in noticed this and gave me a credit for 1/4 tank. BUDGET has never done this and doubt they would even care. National is very impressive with there professionalism and customer. Great company to deal with.

I've been renting with National since 2002. I've been renting with the National at MLB airport since early 2015. I average about a trip a month to Florida on business. The National Rental counter is always friendly, helpful, and quick about processing my rentals, either outgoing or incoming. Mike and his staff are the best. I highly recommend National Rental to anyone reading this review. I would also caution people when returning a vehicle, do not make the mistake of parking in a Hertz lot. The Hertz parking attendant will definitely (and rather gruffly) tell you to move your returned car.

At the Melbourne Regional Airport (MLB), I was assigned a cleaned, fully prepped and roadworthy 2017 Edge for a very fair daily price. My vehicle performed well and was quite comfortable to drive, and my initial check-out and subsequent check-in process five days later could not have been more quick and smooth. This has been the case at each of my trips to this location. Kudos to those lovely staff who make this all seamlessly happen - Well done, National!

Unexpected vehicle upgrade due to system glitch when reserving online. Excellent counter customer service. Totally surprised to see that the upgraded vehicle was a convertible when the counter rep indicated they didn't have any available. Definitely staying with your company for all future needs and will recommend you to all that ask. Thank you for enhancing our trip to FLA!

I rented a 2018 Mustang for a one-day business trip to Orlando. The car was very clean inside and out. The car drove well and handled like a dream on the highway. The folks at the rental car counter were very pleasant and helpful. Would I rent again from National? You bet I would!

The rental car drop off is awesome! Use you Google maps and drive into the car drop off lot. Find a spot marked for National. Take a picture of your miles and fuel gauge. Lock the car take the keys inside. No waiting, no bull. Best drop off experience I have had at any airport. The drop off lot is literally 40 feet from the airport front doors. No bus needed. The Melbourne airport is great!

The National Team at MLB is always polite and professional and generally quick to select a car of my choice. Recently they recovered a toll transponder that I had left in the car and had it waiting at the counter when I returned to pick it up. Their efforts were very much appreciated. Thanks!

Whenever I have problems getting on a flight, and my only choice is to drive one way to my destination, renting a car from National Car Rental has worked for me 9 out of every 10 times! It helps joining their EMERALD Club Membership Program. Virtually every time I rent from National, I get a complimentary upgrade. My experience has been positive with National Car Rental every time I have rented from them!

Friendly staff and nice cars! Ariel at the counter went well over and beyond to ensure I had a good expierence with a last minute rental after a cancelled flight. I had a terrible expirence with Budget/Avis at the same airport and National made up for all of it!!!
