Lil City Creamery

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Lil City Creamery in Falls Church, Virginia, and I must say it was a delightful experience. The standout feature of this charming ice cream shop has to be the exceptional service provided by two young and friendly employees. They were not only welcoming but also incredibly knowledgeable about the fantastic ice cream they serve.

Speaking of ice cream, the quality here is top-notch. The flavors are not overly sweet, and you can truly taste the organic and natural ingredients used. It's a refreshing change from overly sugary options at some other places.

The store itself is clean, well-organized, and brimming with character. The owner's collection of action figures and cartoons adds a unique touch that sets this place apart.

Parking was surprisingly hassle-free, with ample space in the back of the store. It's a rarity in this area, and it's definitely appreciated.

A little background on Lil City Creamery: it's a small establishment with a rich history, making it a local gem. While the place is cozy, you can enjoy your ice cream in the little park next to it.

The only drawback is the absence of a restroom, which can be a bit inconvenient, especially for families. Nonetheless, Lil City Creamery is a great spot for a sweet treat, fantastic service, and a touch of nostalgia. It's a must-visit for anyone in Falls Church!

A tiny ice cream parlor that serves delicious think and creamy ice cream. My friend got a single scoop of Butter Pecan ($4.75). I got a double scoop ($6.75) of Butter Pecan and Cocoanut. The only drawback is that there's no place to sit in the shop. Not a problem on a beautiful summer day, with benches right outside to sit and enjoy your ice cream or other treat.

The black raspberry chocolate chip ice cream is scrumptious. Interior design is delightfully quirky with hundreds of figurines greeting you. Service is super friendly. Will make this a Sunday treat.

Quaint ice cream shop. Ice cream was full of flavor and super creamy. Super small shop, therefore no seating inside, but instead strategically located alongside a small park with benches and patio chairs to sit and enjoy your ice cream.

BEST ICE CREAM EVER!!!! Me and my coworkers go here EVERY WEEK and I do mean EVERY WEEK! Jeff is hilarious. We love the décor on the wall because if you have ever watched cartoons, it's literally every cartoon show ever up there lol... including Gumby. And there is literally a couple of benches right out front and this open area with tables and chairs to eat outside of the ice cream shop. DON'T WALK, RUN HERE!!!!!! THANK ME LATER:)

We enjoyed the ice cream VERY much. 7 people $33. I had salty caramel, delicious. Other flavors chocolate thunder - one of most popular. Steam oil - coffee ice cream with green caramel and swirl

My husband and I enjoyed cones from here before a show at the State Theater tonight. The ice cream was amazing and the price wasn't outrageous like so many places in northern Virginia. The extreme chocolate ice cream was the best I've ever had. The shop is so tiny and really cute. We will definitely come back.

One of my favorite spots to grab fresh, delicious ice cream. The owner and the employees are always very friendly and so generous with the portions. For “one scoop” order you can get two different flavors. Today I received 3 different flavors for “one scoop”! Their ice cream always tastes delicious and there is a great variety of flavors from sorbets to their signature steamer flavor. Highly recommend.

Amazing little ice cream shop. It's in a small nook! We had the Raspberry Truffle and the Turtle. Both were amazing!

The chocolate thunder flavor I tired here was so goooood! What makes it so special is also the texture. That nice creamy pull that the ice cream has - so very good! One of the gems in the area. Thank you for what you guys do!

Everyone was very friendly, the flavors were a bit limited, but I really enjoyed my milkshake, and they didn't try to put whip cream on it.

We love Woodside ice cream! Being from Delaware and working on the farm creamery, my husband lives coming here to get a taste of home. Plan your trip. They only have room for about 4 people in the store and no seating inside. Be careful when parking so you don't park in another store's reserved spaces.

Delicious ice cream. Lives up to its name. Very tiny. There are two tables, one inside and one outside. Don't expect to hang around. Otherwise ice cream is great and staff is very friendly.

Probably the best ice cream place I ever visited. The flavor's not too milky or too sweet to give you a toothache. It melts in your mouth very smoothly, but it also means it collapses pretty quickly so I wouldn't recommend eating it with a waffle cone. The cotton candy's the best imo

Nice little store with friendly staff. The ice cream was good but not the best we've had. The selection is somewhat limited, due to the small store footprint but what they have is very good. The peach, pear, apricot smoothie was really good. It was worth stopping in and we would likely frequent the place, if we lived in that area.

The best ice cream we've had would be from UDairy Creamery at Univ of Delaware. In the area where we live, I would go with Cold Stone. Your ice cream was very good and we look forward to visiting again, if we are back in the area. BTW, the old CRT with VHS player in the lobby was a fun touch!
