Even though I’ve only started working with him this past summer, I’m hitting my balls farther and my club speed is faster. I have been working with Ryan at TMR since December 2023. Prior to December 2023, physical fitness always seemed to be deprioritized, however, golf had always been a priority. With a goal of losing weight, gaining muscle, and improving flexibility, movement, and speed throughout my golf swing, I gave Ryan a chance to support me and my goals.

Ryan listened to my goals and aspirations and curated a workout plan and routine specifically for me and my abilities. The workouts, difficulty, weight, and complexity has slowly increased as my capabilities and strength improved. Since December 2023, my swing speed has improved from 105mph to 113mph, I've lost 17lbs net, and gain considerable strength in weight-lifting exercises.

Ryan has created an inviting facility at The Movement Room and effectively balances creative workout routines on a weekly basis to eliminate any monotony. The golf simulator and speed sticks at TMR enables me to see instant, real time results and feedback, as well as week to week improvement.

If you're looking to improve physical fitness, golf mobility and flexibility, and improve swing speed, you'd be best served to work with Ryan and The Movement Room.

I've been working with Ryan for about 8 months now. I was stuck in a rut doing a lot of the same movements and exercises I had been doing for 15 years. Ryan took time to figure out what I was after and customized the program for some of my golf specific goals. He brings tons of different movements and huge variety of exercises so it's really engaging and keeps you on your toes. I genuinely look forward to the sessions and I've seen real improvement in my overall strength and mobility since starting work with him. He's not afraid to push you but takes things like upcoming events or golf tournaments into account when designing your workouts so you can go in at peak performance. Highly recommend working with him.

A couple of friends who were working out with Ryan & “The Movement Room” urged me to give it a try. I am glad they did! As a 61 year old golfer, I am constantly looking for ways to get more fit for golf, but to also take care of my body. Ryan has proven to me time and again that age is a just a number, and the need to work out as we grow older is imperative. Ryan’s knowledge, professionalism and guidance has allowed me to make strong gains in a short amount of time. Further, I feel better and stronger and move better than I have in some time. If you are in question about whether or not the “The Movement Room’ is for you, I urge you to give it a try! You will not regret it!

I have been working with Ryan for eight (yes, 8!) years. He fits the training to the client's needs unlike so many other trainers/ gyms who push a one-size fits all approach. Over the years, he has responded to my shifting fitness goals, knowing when to push me and when to back-off and making sure I back-off or adjust my program when I really need to. And, he is always supportive and understanding when things don't go as planned or hoped. He is fun to work with.

I highly recommend Ryan and The Movement Room for training as I have seen great improvement in my strength, muscle tone and flexibility. Ryan customizes your workouts to whatever your goals are. He is very creative with his exercises - after 2 years of working with him, the sessions are productive, challenging and, yes, fun. When COVID quarantine hit last spring, Ryan checked in with me regularly to see how I was doing and offered ways to keep my spirits up. He truly cares about his clients in every way.

A couple of years ago, I started focusing on fitness and training for Spartan races, without really knowing what I was doing. Over time, I managed to make some progress at the expense of slowly injuring my shoulder and adopting poor lifting habits without really knowing why. In a little under three months, my shoulder pain is completely gone, and my strength and mobility has exploded thanks to Ryan's personal mobility and strength training in The Movement Room. Ryan has been a tremendous help in undoing the damage I was doing to myself and setting me up for success in my future. His strategy of focusing not only on the compound, heavy lifts with proper form, but also the plyometric and mobility routines really set him apart from other trainers and advice I've received in the past. I would absolutely recommend The Movement Room if you're serious about keeping your joints and muscles healthy while progressing towards your fitness goals!

I have been working with Ryan for several years. Ryan has a unique approach to training, this is not just pushing weights. There is a diverse focus on movement, everything from running jumping and sprinting to spike ball in addition to traditional strength training.

Ive trained with Ryan for a couple years now. I have learned so much through his training style about proper form and to not over complicate my workouts. He incorporates agility warmups that are challenging but fun. I am pushed, to what i didn’t even realize i am capable of, every session. He makes every workout fun and genuinely cares about his clients!!

I was hesitant at first to sign up for any type of personal training thinking that I would be underwhelmed by a standard program, but Ryan exceeded my expectations during our first meeting. He has a unique and intuitive approach to training combining strength, coordination and agility in all of his sessions. He challenges me to push my limits, but in a very supportive manner emphasizing form over weight or reps. He will often suggest other exercises to do on my "off day" to assist with any problem areas. All of my training with Ryan has certainly paid off with great muscle and coordination gains!

Ryan is an exceptional trainer. He has worked with me to create an individual program, ensuring that it is tailored to my strengths and weaknesses. He emphasizes proper form and technique and provides just the right amount of "push" for improvement. What is very helpful is that he provides workout programs between sessions and makes himself available for questions and check-ins. The "Movement Room" is a great, comfortable place to train, with plentiful equipment. I feel very assured that COVID protocols are thoroughly followed.

I started working with Ryan 2 months ago and have nothing but great things to say about my experience. I have a hybrid model where I do just about all of my training sessions remote and he provides a clear blueprint to follow.

I started seeing him to increase my overall health, range of motion, and strength. He has certainly helped here and I plan to be a long term client!

Ryan is a great trainer. At the end of every session I feel exhausted but also feel like I’ve accomplished a lot. He critiques everything I do in every workout, making sure that I’m doing it correctly. Would 100% recommend!
