It has a nice park with picnic tables. I was there on a Sunday in February and there were still quite a few people in and out. I could imagine it's fairly busy in the summer so plan accordingly.

One of my favorite spots! Was surprised that the "V" in "LOVE" was replaced our last visit with small shrubs, but it's still a beautiful spot! Highly recommend!!!

Haven't been here in many many years, and the only difference is the graffiti on the bridge and the "v" of "LOVE" using the tree is gone, but now the "v" is shrubbery in front of the tree. If you get a chance, when the water is high enough, swing from the ropes under the bridge and float down in the water. Nice little park also.

It is a beautiful piece of history, a short drive off I-64. A nice small park, with a few tables, and parking very close to the bridge.

Nice little stop on the way to take my son to Goshen to work at youth camp,.. The bridge was amazing. The little park that came with was cool. Wish there was a little bit more information at the location to let us know about the bridge and it's importance....

No excuses for missing this beautiful bridge that is not even one mile off the Interstate. Constructed of hand-hewn timber in 1835 for the James River Kanawha Turnpike Corporation. The bridge remained in active public use until 1929.

In 1953, the bridge was reconditioned and the land purchased for this lovely park. Portable toilets, picnic benches and lighting. It's lovely and well worth a quick stop on your journey near the Virginia / West Virginia border.

Discovered this planning a road trip. We were all so glad we stopped. It's one of the more unique covered bridges you will see in this area. The little park surround is cute with a surprise if you back up to take your pic. What first looks like random gear pieces and a tree spell LOVE!

A nice and place to stop by and cool down at the river. There is no transit through the bridge, so it is easy to enjoy. Kind of sad that it is all covered in graffiti on the inside, but at the same time, I feel it gives it some personality. Restrooms (port-a-potty) available. Plenty of parking. Great for picnics. Let’s keep VIRGINIA clean and pick up after we are done. There are bears in the area.

Really cool covered bridge and very pretty surroundings. Easy access to hwy. Really old railroad bridge right next to it, too.

Nice historical sight to visit. Enjoyed viewing the architecture and the use of a tree to spell the word “Love”. Well worth the time to stop if you are in the area. I would recommend using the woods if necessary…the on site port-a-john’s were pretty nasty.

Absolutely Beautiful. Worth The Look. Very Quiet And Peaceful. Inside the bridge you will find much symbols and writings of love from many different couples. Usually this would be considered vandalism but I think it goes along with the theme that "Virginia is for Lovers." Thus I think it actually compliments the whole Love Bridge Idea.

This was an unusual covered bridge with an arch in the middle. There is a lot of graffiti which kind of distracts from the covered bridge but I did find myself looking for older dates. The oldest I found was 1968.
Nice parking lot and the area was very clean. Fun detour only a couple of miles off I-64.

Beautiful place. Had picnic. Kids was able to catch crayfish in the water. Lots of wildlife. Really great experience to have especially if you like the outdoor. Water was amazing. Had a swinging rooe so you could swing off from under bridge into the water. I mean all and all great place to visit. And have cookout if your bring your own grill or use the ones there.

We love the Humpback! We travel to West VA to visit my wife's family and tend to stop off here and have a little picnic, walk and sometimes a dip. It's fun to play in the water, nice and clean, but a little crisp. The bridge is cool to check out and walk over. Nice green areas to sit or even the few tables they have. Great place to skip rocks.
