La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Radford

I'll be honest that I was hesitant about staying here based upon the price I paid, but boy was I wrong.

Check-in clerk was super friendly upon arrival. Hotel lobby, hallway, and room were all clean. Breakfast wasn't anything special, but was well stocked and filling.

Only complaint is cigarette smoking was done right outside the front doors and cigarette butts were all over the ground in that area. There was also a very, very, very faint odor of cigarettes in the hallway, but I'm also a bit more sensitive to that odor so most probably won't even notice.

Overall a great stay and we'll be adding this to our list whenever we're in the area again.

HONEST and friendly staff! When I was checking out, I accidentally left my laptop bag in the reception area. Two hours later I returned for it and everything was accounted for. They correctly stated there was no contact information readily visible in my bag or they would have called me (which was understandable because I was traveling with my BF and he paid for the room but they didn't know my name). Also, I needed a hair dryer and called the front desk to see if they had one. They said it was being used by another guest but less than 5 minutes later they brought me one! Super clean and beautifully-decorated room, a simple but fresh breakfast of scrambled eggs and sausage patties, DIY Belgian pancakes, and an assortment of toast, fruit and choice of juices, nice reception area, and the lovely folks at the front desk were always friendly and helpful. This will be our go-to place as we travel long distances between states. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

Honestly one of the best hotels I've stayed at. I've stay in several of their locations and never had a bad experience! Wonderful staff at this location and other locations. Dog friendly and yet very clean! Their prices are to die for, in a hotel that serves breakfast and its less than $100 per night! I can always count on La Quinta Inn to offer the best hotel experience on a lower budget! 100% recommend!

I definitely recommend La Quinta in Radford, VA. The front desk workers were so respectful and kind to us! The rooms were nice and very clean when we got there. I will say this is a bit of a smaller hotel, so when I got back around 12am one night there were no parking spaces in the lot. The lady at the front desk at the time worked with me and we were able to get me parked. Overall the 4 days me and my mom stayed there was great and I would definitely consider booking there again if we ever go back!

Everything was great. The breakfast is some not lacking. I would give the breakfast to two out of 10.

Although they were short staffed, every one was very nice and the rooms were super clean.

We just spent a weekend here at La Quinta. For the price, the hotel definitely exceeded expectations! The staff was friendly and accommodating and the rooms were very clean. We would definitely stay here again and soon !!

Value for Hokies football is why this is five stars.

20-25 minutes from Virginia Tech. This is not a Home2 Suites, but it was a clean room with nice, helpful staff. Somewhat tired, but not overly. The drive back from a Hokies 8p.m. game after tailgating all day was not bad. It was much less money than staying in Blacksburg or Christiansburg. Would stay here again and recommend for Tech football

I have to be honest, I did not stay. I am new to the area and this hotel came recommended but I went with the option across the street. DO NOT DO THIS!!!

The place is very nice and more importantly, every time I have had to contact them, they have been super friendly and helpful. Above and beyond really. Especially Jamie, the late night lady. I can't even really find the words right now but she is a spectacular human being so it's with the stay just to connect with her. Thank you Jamie and thank you La Quinta Radford for taking such care in hiring the best people.

A couple days ago we stayed at this hotel for 1 night. The next morning when we were about to leave one of our motorcycles broke down. The owner Mr. Patel and his fantastic staff member - Barb - helped us out by providing us with a local tow company. They assured us that they will help us however they can. Words cannot describe how comfortable they made us feel during this unpleasant situation. I highly recommend the La Quinta in Radford VA! Thank you again Mr. Patel and Barb - you both are truly good hearted people. See you next year!

Very up to date facilities are well maintained by the friendly staff. Notable are the large clean shower (no tub, and better off for it), the convenient water/ice/vending, the side access doors, and the cheerful decor throughout. Night staff and day staff both were very friendly, patient, and helpful. Less than 5 minutes from I-81 and pet friendly drew me to this hotel, then the rest of the details were a pleasant surprise. Will patronize again when passing through.

Clean, quite and a great stay for a great price. Breakfast was not disappointing and the staff were friendly. This is the 1st hotel I have ever stayed in that I have no complaints about!

The room was comfortable and clean. The entire staff was professional and friendly from the front​ desk to housekeeping. I enjoyed the free breakfast (scrambled eggs, biscuits & gravy, sausage and crispy bacon, Belgian waffle and more). I did not get to try out their Bistro (open from 5-10) but plan on checking it out next time I'm in town.

Quiet location, very clean lobby and hotel room. Lots of parking. But best of all was Lynette, the front desk host. She was there when I checked in @7 PM and when I checked out the next morning at 6 AM. BIG SMILE, very kind, answered all my questions well. I highly recommend this place - I stayed a Saturday overnight after a VT Hokies home football game.

I arrived around 7 pm and checked into a King Suite. They have updated the rooms and they very beautiful, clean, and comfortable, the staff is extremely courteous and willing to help with anything! Its great pricing for the rooms and pets are allowed free of charge. The complimentary breakfast is amazing and has also a small hot breakfast buffet free with your stay. I recommend LaQuinta Inn to anyone traveling through! If I could give 10 stars I would!

This was a nice hotel with very friendly staff members! The room was comfortable, and clean. The best part is that La Quinta is pet friendly! I was provided a roll away bed at no additional charge, and the breakfast had hot eggs and gravy. We did wake up late, so we made it to the end of the breakfast hours. The eggs were a little chewy, but I knew if I had asked, she would have made more to order. She kept the bacon flowing, and that's all my kids cared about! lol. While we were eating breakfast, a man with his family started a conversation with us. I think he was the owner. He offered for us to make pb&j for the road so we would not have to stop for lunch. It was very sweet, and he had a very nice family. I definitely recommend this hotel. Don't let the few miles from the interstate keep you from staying at this sweet hotel!

Great space! Bed was super comfy and the bathroom looked fully renovated with new fixtures. TV also was recently upgraded to a massive modern display. Very nice room.

Lobby, grounds and rooms were very clean and inviting. All the staff we dealt with were very friendly and helpful. Lots of great food in breakfast bar. The only complaint I had is that there's no ice machine except on ground floor and that one was out of order!

New and stylish is not that important to me. This hotel has everything that I need as a traveler for a night or two. Nice spacious room (mine included a Jacuzzi). The hotel has a bistro, which serves convenience food and beer and wine. What a great feature for a tired traveler who wants to unwind after a long drive on I-81. I will address other issues. My room had NO trace of cigarettes. I quickly hooked into the internet via ethernet (instead of the more common wireless). No problem. Flat panel TV with wide selection of channels. Also a very gracious and welcoming front desk staff. Everything is well maintained.

Very Nice. Friendly and pet friendly. Clean and affordable. Not right on I81 but only a few easy miles. Location is perfect for us, about midway from home to Florida. Parking is safe and convenient. Booking was easy enough through their website: LQ. Just one thing to improve would be to use Queen beds instead of doubles, that applies to most hotels and it would give me a little more elbow room when I sleep. Breakfast was basic but enought to get you going. Thanks to the staff for the stay.
