Comfort Inn & Suites Christiansburg I-81

The staff here make this place 5 stars all on their own, especially Joy and the breakfast lady (sorry I didn't get your name). Wonderful people. Clean, quiet and a good value.

This was one of the best Comfort Suits we stayed at all week! Clean and convenient with mini fridges in lobby with grab and go food/snacks and cold water. Front desk had a list of local restaurants to visit with a coupon. Breakfast was good but only hot choices were one type egg and one type sausage.

Highly recommend BT's Sports Bar. 10 minutes from hotel easy parking and excellent food and drinks.

Only bad is they advertise a pool but it was not open and appears had not been for some time.

This has got to be absolutely one of my best hotel experiences in terms of overall service. The staff was so friendly and gave us a complimentary upgrade when we arrived, put together a little package of extra towels and toiletries for us when we told them my little one was taking a nap so we would miss the room cleaning services, and just was so thoughtful in every aspect of their service. Our room was immaculately clean upon our arrival and breakfast was hot and well organized. The hotel is only about a 20 minute drive from Blacksburg and a much better deal than hotels right in town. Definitely worth it for when we were there to visit the Virginia Tech student in our family. We were so pleased with our stay that we immediately booked again for when we come back for VT graduation in the spring. I cannot recommend the Comfort Inn and Suites I-18 in Christiansburg enough! 6 stars!

The clutch went out so this was an unexpected stay; five nights.

The rooms have been updated. The rooms are clean, spacious, with refrigerator, coffee pot, and microwave.

Housekeeping was kind and helpful. There were several perks to this hotel. A hot breakfast each morning turned out to be a vital part of my day.

Waffles, eggs, sausage, fruits, cereals, just like the old days, these hotels are hard to find these days.

Got a discount because it was an unexpected stay.

Uber Eats was most helpful as well

This is a dog friendly hotel, another plus.

The staff, the front desk clerks, awesome. Housekeeping was a gem, and the breakfast personal on point. Though this may be off the beaten path it was a great stay, could have watched the sunrise over the hills but I was so comfortable I slept in each morning.❤

Over the top staff!! They gave me everything I asked for without question. There was a problem with my room they changed my room without question. Absolutely clean room literally 1 bulb out of 9 lights was the worst I could say.Breakfast was on time and the selection was great. Muffins,eggs, bacon& sausage. Cereal and more. I would recommend the King hot tub room to anyone.

I was greeted immediately and checkin was a breeze. I was offered my choice of floor and my room was quiet and properly set up. WiFi password was written on the key card envelope. In the morning I was invited to enjoy the breakfast. I didn't have time but it smelled good.

We got there pretty late, I believe we stayed in the same exact room on another trip a few years ago. Nice breakfast set up. Friendly staff. Clean, quiet and affordable.

Rooms are very clean and if there are any issues they always make a point to make sure they fix it. The breakfast is amazing and the king size rooms with the jacuzzi tubs are fantastic for the price. The staff is super helpful and we’ve stayed here four times and never had a bad experience. This hotel is our go to any time we come in to see family! Definitely a five star!

Very clean rooms and facilities. The staff greets us by name and are all very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast bar has a nice variety to choose from. Check in is very smooth and easy. We have stayed at this location multiple times and will return many more I’m sure. The towels and sheets are always fresh and clean with no stains and have a nice smell. We chose this motel over two others we stayed at during our travels to the area and it has been the best every time.

Half the rate of other options and it was just as nice, if not better, as any hotel in this category. Extremely friendly and accommodating staff. Our room was completely outfitted with microwave, good size refrigerator, flat screen TV, safe, plenty of lamps, and a wonderful large bed and nice lounge chair/desk area. Plus it was super clean and didn't have that weird "hotel smell" that some do. Everything was perfect. Bathroom was spacious and had updated vanity area and flooring. Room was updated as well and king bed was comfortable, as were linens. The breakfast was great, as was the nice chilled lemon water, tea, and coffee available 24/7 in the lobby area. I did not get a chance to use the pool, but it looked nice to me. Would most certainly stay here again when we're in the area.

We enjoyed our stay. The hotel was clean. Wish the breakfast had been a full breakfast but with Covid, I understand why it could not be. I wish they had more gluten free options for breakfast. The room had good air conditioning and had a refrigerator and microwave. Our room had two beds and a sofa bed. We will definitely stay here again!

Great friendly staff! Joy at checkin was amazing! She recommended a restaurant for us to have dinner.
The hotel is located in an easy accessible location and a 5 minute drive to Carilion New River Medical Center, where we néed to be early in the morning.

The hotel is very clean inside and out and well kept.
Our room was also very clean with a nice smell. We slept very well with great pillows. Loved having nice hot water at night and early in the morning for showers!!! Thank you agian Joy!!

The stay was lovely! Couldn't hear others in their rooms or the hall. Grab and go breakfast was actually much better than the name sounds. Very clean, very friendly staff, comfortable beds, hot showers, big TV and got to watch The Golden Girls. All in all it was great!

Really well kept. Rooms were immaculate. Front staff were very helpful and courteous. They did a really good jib with the grab and go breakfast given the new landscape of buffet. Just be prepared , its really not close to anything but the interstate. But would definitely stay there again.

First of all, the staff was super friendly and accommodating. Our room was spacious and clean, there were plenty of towels and supplies, and they did a great job of providing breakfast options in a grab-and-go setup to avoid regular use of the dining area. NOTE: If you use the coffee pot, don't throw away the plastic tray that holds the coffee pods. Ours was missing and the attendant was quick about finding another, but we figured out that other people were probably throwing them away by mistake. The possible reason? Coffee pods provided by other hotels often include a throwaway plastic tray, so travelers may be so used to those that they don't realize that it's not the case everywhere.

Super friendly people. Clean nice rooms. Breakfast was good. Plenty of parking. Easy access right off the interstate.

Angela and a few other wonderful ladies (I didn't get their names) totally saved the day for us when it started snowing! She was SO friendly and helpful! She was truly a blessing for us and the other folks traveling that day. She checked out the radar and the local weather reports for us and some other folks and since all the rooms which allowed pets were booked, she got manager to bypass that for us and get us a room while the weather and roads cleared up. We were so happy and thankful. The roads were seriously scary outside, but with Angela we knew we were in good hands. I could have cried, I was just so grateful for her amazing service. Y'all sure are lucky to have a crew like that at your hotel. Not only that, but the room was impeccably clean and the beds and pillows were so comfortable. The breakfast was great, and the staff was friendly. We truly enjoyed our stay.

Decided last minute to stop here on my way from NY to GA. Everyone was extremely helpful and friendly. They had a pack and play crib available for my baby to use. The rooms were nice and clean. I would absolutely stop here again in the future.

The front desk lady Joy welcomed me. Perfect name to work with. Excellent positive staff very clean room easy access to the hospital and downtown Radford. This is where I stay when I come to Virginia
