Food City

I've never heard of Food City before I passed though in need of a Restroom but by golly...they have put the usual culprits, Giant, Shoppers, Food Lion, Aldi, Harris Teeter, etc to shame. These folks have a bar that I didn't know could be attained .

They have large meat selections reminiscent of what I've seen in Texas...large, red chunks of meat that seem like the butcher and livestock farms are just up the road.

I'm a way, we all have to see things from where we stand. I found IHOP brand coffee: chocolate, regular, and buttery syrup blends. So, from where I reside, you can't find these varieties. I should also add that their pastery offerings were notable. I mean, I believe they had some cappuccino, scores cupcakes and banana pudding cake. It's a glutton's paradise and I'm here for it.

Awesome place. Like Kroger & Trader Joes had a secret child. Huge fresh produce section. Deli full of fresh cut meats & cheeses. I LOVED the seafood section, huge variety of items, and the Cajun options reminded me of home on the Gulf. Awesome beer & wine isle & they have a wine & brew bar inside the store. Associates are friendly and the location is very clean.

If you don't feel like cooking; This's the place to grab something good and delicious, there's variety of pastas, salads, seafood, soups, chicken wings, fry chicken and don't forget the topical roast chicken......but if you feel like cooking; they had it all for your favorite dishes to prepared👌

Store is nice and clean. Has a great selection of products.

I love shopping here, I'm 53, so I was brought up on certain products. Food City carries most of these products and more.

Food City is extremely clean, very organized and easy to shop. Always a pleasure to shop at Food City!

One of the best grocery shops around. Wish they had one closer to me. Love the tasting bar, wish they had more selections.

My first time in the Radford location!! Very clean and love the 25% off meat Sale!! SO happy we have one now in Radford!!!!

This store is always clean. The produce section is the best in the NRV!

Food City knows how to sell groceries. No matter where I find one they always carry the best products at the best prices. The service is always polite and friendly too

Didn't buy anything, just visiting and stopped in. The place looks very inviting. They have everything you need. I wish we had one where I live.

Great store, prices are reasonable and store looked to be clean and somewhat orderly.

Very clean & well stocked. Choices were abundant. Loved the hot bar, the regular bar & the deli/bakery. The butcher was nice & accommodated my needs.

If you care about brands, you probably won't like this place, but I was actually surprised how good the prices were even after inflation going out of control. Friendly helpful service. Even their Starbucks is cheaper

Never shopped here before last week. I will have to say that it is comparable to a Kroger's. Bet bigger aisles and far more registers. Had a coffee shop and a small dinner inside

Sample some beer and/or wine while grocery shopping???? Score!! And they have an excellent produce & meat department!

Large selection of groceries! Fresh produce! Good selection of wine and beer! This was a place close to our Airbnb and we really enjoyed coming here. The staff was really friendly and helpful.

Huge store, huge selection. Has items that walmart never carries anymore. Starbucks inside is a plus, and the salad bar is the main attraction. I work at the hospital and utilize there yogurt bar frequently.
