I had the crab dip here years ago and was duly unimpressed… like, if you're a seafood restaurant, you should have crab dip nailed. Maybe it was an off day in the kitchen... nevertheless, I'm glad I gave this place another shot. My lunch this week was delightful and the staff was super pleasant. View has always been lovely here. Will come back.

This was my husband and I first time eating at Decoy Seaffod and we both were very happy with our meal. He ordered the fish and chips and said the best fish he had eaten and the Cole slaw was really good. I had the crab soup it was okay as I have had better at Smithfield Station. We will definitely be back to try the Jumbalya Pasta, it looked so good. We sat at the bar and Amanda was very pleasant she took care of everyone as if they were the only person at the bar. Very professional and customer service Beyond Excellence!!!! Amanda we will be back and sitting at the bar.

I was taken here to have lunch for my birthday. Sitting out on the deck was perfect. Such a pretty view. The decor is simple and eloquent, love the theme. Food was excellent and our server was wonderful. Will definitely visit again. And the deck is dog friendly! Huge bonus.

This place is AMAZING! I went there for the 1st time this past Tuesday for dinner. The atmosphere, the service, the entrees, and the drinks were all on point. I definitely recommend it.

We visited for lunch and the food was very delicious. The Oysters Rockefeller had great flavor. The cocktail was tasty and the fried shrimp were a decent size and lightly battered. Lunch was busy and our hostess was pleasant. Definitely will go back for dinner.

My cousins treated me to Decoys Seafood for my birthday September 2nd. It was my first time dining there and I hope not my last. We were provided with good customer service. The food is amazing and you get a lot for your money. It's a cozy and relaxing atmosphere that overlooks the Bennett's Creek. I can't wait to go back for more good food and good fun.

Nice restaurant on the water at Bennetts Creek in Suffolk, VA. Service has always been great. The food is good. Parking may be challenging if the restaurant is full. There was a valet service (at least a podium. We didn't see the attendant and parked our own vehicle). We haven't been out on the deck, but we can see lots of people out there when we drive by on Rt. 17. Much recommended.

Decoys was a great experience to say the least the atmosphere was very intimate. The food was exceptional and most importantly the service was extraordinary our server Crystal was spectacular! she was super attentive and was very accommodating!!

This was my second coming to Decoys and once again I was not disappointed. Matter of fact, the entire table was quiet once the food arrived. The crab cake was perfect (could’ve been a little bigger). The fried shrimp was huge and delicious. Room for desert? Nope, the servings were huge and filling. Our waitress Jess was a sweetheart and deserves a 10 for her service. We will be returning.

Huge improvement from the last time I went here, some years ago. Ambiance was always amazing, but the food was sort of average. This was a very welcome surprise. I had the ahi jerk on a bed of jasmine rice. It was fabulous and the cocktails were excellent. Job well done to all involved!

It is our 1st time actually being there. And this is the 1st place that don't put onions in their crab cakes so I got to try one for the 1st time. And it was absolutely delicious. Tiger and I both Seafood combo. And it was definitely yummy. The atmosphere was wonderful. Definitely a nice place for a date night. And the staff is absolutely wonderful.

We all were so pleased with our meals last night. We had two table of 6 reserved but not all were able to make the trip by boat so the staff organized one large table for us instead of splitting us up into two tables. Staff went beyond, food & cocktails were excellent, definitely would recommend this lovely restaurant and maria. Be mindful when coming into the channel for marina of the tides, very skinny water and extremally shallow at low tide.

This restaurant is amazing! I had shrimp and grits, so delicious! Food was hot and the service was great! My mother-in-law celebrated her 67 birthday, we had a fantastic time! I definitely recommend Decoy's seafood restaurant. Reservations required!

Retirement party and we used the upstairs private room. Good experience, great food.

A little disappointed. We called and they said the restaurant wouldn't be open till 4:30, but the Tiki Bar was open for our 3:30 arrival meeting friends. We were also told there was a snack shack, where we could order appetizers. The Tiki Bar was nice, but when we perused the snack menu and went to order we were told no they don't serve till 4:30??

Been here twice this year. Can't understand why anyone would give less than 5 Stars. All Excellent
