When I was new to CoVA about 4 years ago, my go to unique shop was A. Dodson's on Colley Avenue and on Laskin's Road. I loved to purchase Uno de 50 jewelry especially when they're on sale! Both stores have since closed except for the Suffolk location. So even when it's a further trek for me to visit, it's still a treat to just walk around and see the unique items they carry. Service is wonderful, everyone greets you and asks if they can be of assistance. A must visit boutique!

They are friendly, and professional, and go the extra mile for you. The store is brilliant, and beautiful. Merchandise is creative, unique, and wide ranging. This is how shopping should be. I love this shop! I wish I would’ve lived here when my boy was little because the collection of Hape toys are wonderful! But they also had bunches of great gadgets and toys my 6 year old liked. Better yet were the delightful employees. In both stores I was greeted, asked if I needed any help, and treated politely even with my 6 year old boy in tow in the main boutique building (I know littles in a shop can sometimes raise thoughts of destruction 😁). I will be stopping by again soon!

Not handicap friendly. No ramps. VERY crowded. Would love to see her in a newer facility where wheelchair folks could get in and around. Inventory is awesome. Completely fabulous. Great shops for gifts. Fun ideas for gifts. Really cute shop. But VERY, VERY SQUEEZED IN.

WOW!!! I ordered my items on a Saturday evening (to be shipped to Ohio) and received them on Monday! Packaging was great, and I LOVE my purchase! I only wish I lived closer to visit this store in person. Looks adorable!

Really great selection of hard to find and handmade items. The clothing and shoe selection is on par with any metro area clothing boutique. The owner was extremely helpful in fitting me with a gorgeous pair of boots (that she was actually wearing that day herself). I'll definitely be back the next time I find myself in that neck of the woods.
