Great selections of brews and awesome grilled cheeses and tots. Simple food but done well. Parking can be difficult (as the parking lot is small) but don’t let that discourage you to try some grilled cheeses and beers!

Like a beacon light! This place is a bar with over 20 microbrews on tap that specializes in grilled cheese sandwiches until 2AM! Every musicians dream and they delivered the goods! Had the meatloaf sandwich with tater tots. Put this place on your Falls Church late night munchies list.

I am a regular at this location. My favorite place to go and end my week. Great food (if you like grilled cheese sandwiches, and tatertots), great crafted beers, but over all, the service is extraordinary.
Its a homie location, small but the atmosphere is very cozy.
Highly recommended if you are in Falls Church. Simple place, with amazing service.

Favorite bar! Only alt spot in falls church, I go just about every week. They have a rotating selection of craft beers in a few different sizes, great drunk eats- tator tots and creative grilled cheese, including vegetarian (and potentially vegan?) options, and they're always playing good music and showing some kind of cheesy/cult classic flicks on a tv behind the bar above the taps. Really great atmosphere even when busy, typically i don't love being in crowds but i actually like when it's a little busy here- just gotta be quick or willing to wait a while on fridays and saturdays bc they fill up quick. 100% worth it.

I forgot to get a snap of the grilled cheese. But the tothitios? Idk what they called em. But the tots were great. Enough for two people to snack on. I was happy and enjoyed the space and beer.

I wanted to check this place out after going to Galaxy Hut. The atmosphere is chill with obscure movies being played. It has a great beer selection and menu is super vegetarian and vegan friendly. This time we ordered the Pesto Control and grilled cheese #3 with tomato soup. The tots are divine and out of this world. If you come for any reason whatsoever, order some tots.

Great food and beers on tap in a chill bar with a laid back vibe. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming. Recommend the meatloaf grilled cheese or the Churipapa with pork. Also, make sure to get a side of their delicious tots!

Great grilled cheese options, loaded tots, and craft beers, and ciders. Lots of taps for beverage options. If you like to create your own craft beer mix, just ask!

I've been to Galaxy Hut a lot, Spacebar's sister restaurant in Arlington, so I knew I needed to check this place out. It fully delivers and met my expectations if not exceeded them. The vibe is casual and fun, with old B list 80s movies playing on their TV. I got the fake chicken avocado melt and it was super delicious. The tots are amazing and oh so crunchy. This place is the epitome of good vegetarian comfort food and a good time.

Okay, lot to unpack here. Great beer curation. Some local, some not, but all solid choices. The specialty sandwich was no joke a top 5 sandwich of my life. I wanted a second as soon as I finished the first. Kinda sad to know the next time I'm here it's probably not the special. Like that's a problem.

Secondly, this place knows tots. It's easy to screw up tots. Tots are awesome, who doesn't love them? However, most bar tots are just like soggy and boring. Not here. It's legit totchos. What even is this place??

Great food and great beer. Be prepared to order food from the bar if you sit at a table. Steak and cheese grilled cheese is fire.

Quite difficult to be unhappy at this place. Quality beer, unpretentious but delicious totchos, nice folks behind the counter. Elder millennial vibe throughout. 👌

In addition to the grilled cheese & tots, Spacebar has a selection of darker beers & stouts, which have been surprisingly hard to find in the DMV. From the playlist to the movie on TV, it was pretty much a perfect dinner experience for us two 40 year olds. Thanks, Spacebar!! ✌

If you love grilled cheese and beer this is the place for you. If you don't you probably won't like Spacebar. It's an odd mix of older people and hipsters, groups meeting up and couples in dates. One of the nice parts is it is and 21 and up establishment, this place is definitely not for kids. They have vegan options if that's what you are into but plenty of cheese and meat if not.

Flew out to Virginia from California to visit my daughter and son-in-law. We hit this spot late. It was a great spot to chill and drink. Bartenders were friendly. LOVE THE PLAYLIST! Great songs. Drinks were good. Atmosphere was good vibes.
