North Suffolk Library

I love visiting the library and this particular is always so well organized, neat, and easy to explore through all of the various titles. There are always fun activities planned and held at the library and the staff are always so helpful, kind, and friendly.

Fantastic library. Great staff and selection. There's a kid's area that our 6 year old son loves.

We love going here as family for kids/toddler play area when weather isnt great and to pick out books as well as the great programs they offer.

I’ve been to tons of libraries and this is by far my best yet. The clerks and assistants are all so helpful and lovely. Not to mention the library has some designated study areas, completely separate kid section, copiers/printers and computers to use. The books are perfectly organized and the checkout/checkin process is super simple! If speaking with people make you nervous you can self checkout all day long. There is not cost to get a library card. Almost no fees at all even for late books. I highly recommend it!

Great selection of books and friendly staff. Often have events for children and adults such as Magic the Gathering game nights. There's a study area as well as the lobby have desk to use with power.

So many new books and things to explore -- come take part in the book read-a-thon to help win money for our favorite library this summer!! Extended renewals so you don't have to worry about taking some books on vacation and paying overdue fees.

North Suffolk library is very nice. [Open @ 10am] Fast internet yet login is required. If login screen does not appear then may have to "add exception" within browser or type 1.1.1.1 into browser to get exceptions page to appear. Then click accept for access. Nice staff yet PATRONS typically RUDELY HAVE PHONE CONVERSIONS...also food and drinks are allowed within library. Seems more Starbucks than the libraries of old.

My son said it's a 10,000 star out of 10. Not a huge selection of books, but a very nice location.

My 4 year old son, & disabled 2 year old daughter LOVED it here! There was so much for them to do, & even a place where I could sit, & charge up My phone in the children's area (My daughter kept watching 'baby Shark' until My battery was low LOL) All in all, We had a great day, spending quality family time together at the library 👍!

Best library in Suffolk. It is new, spacious and a huge collection off books and audio books compared to others. Workers are polite and always greeted guests with smile. Drop off box is just outside the entrance making it easier to return books on off hours. Vending machines are a plus, children section is outstanding. Computers and printer for public use are also a plus.

While this is a smaller library, it very well organized, neat, and clean. I enjoy coming here to check out books for my classroom when I need it. The staff is friendly and the environment is very quiet. The only qualm I have about this library are the hours. There have been many times I wish they were open on Sundays. However, this doesn't detract from the niceness of this library.

Love this little library! It’s never really crowded, great kids area with its own clean bathroom. Love the self checkout option.

The best library that I have visited in Hampton Roads. Clean, friendly staff, and the children's programs are outstanding.

I would love to see more morning and mid-day programs for home school children.

Great library with fun children's play area. I like the easy to use self checkout kiosks and the amount of children's toys! Highly recommended!

If children love being read to and reading as a child it will carry on into adulthood. Once an adult they will make sure other children will experience the same joy.

It’s a wonderful library to take my children to, who are 3 and under 1. Going to storytime is the highlight of my toddler’s week and there are so many things to do in the kids area.

Very nice library. . Friendly staff, good selection of books. Also have used computers when my printer was on the blink.
