Big Chimneys Park

Is a place made for kids. Bigger kids (parents) are welcome to use the playground. There is an area with seating, maybe for birthdays or picnics. Be safe and always look at your child.

Creative playground equipment, including a rad spinning swing and climbing structures. There's a pavilion (rentable, through FC) at the top of the hill, and a small, shaded green space at the bottom of the hill in addition to the playground.

We recently discovered this park which seems fairly new. They have two play areas, perfect for different ages and abilities. Also, a disc swing, toddler, regular swings, and swings that are like a merry go round. Some of the areas are shaded, but the larger structure does get hot by late morning in the summer.

Update Feb 2022: the sun feels lovely in the colder weather. Easy access to neighborhoods, rt 7, and Happy Tart/Target.

Update Aug 2022: the swings that go in a circle get quite hit by mid day - we swing them around empty to cool them off. Plenty of places to sit and picnic in the shade.

This park is a fan-favorite with my kids. Newly renovated, the equipment is colorful, diverse, and plentiful so even if the park is poppin, there are still many activities for kids to choose from.

This facility offers a water fountain and is an easy walk to Harris Teeter if you have small ones that need a potty break or snack. There's parallel street parking, which has never been an issue for me on our many visits.

There really isn't a parking lot only 2 spots and one alis a handicap space. There is on street parking.

Low key park surrounded by lots of trees. Contains playground for children and bordered by quiet streets, yet near to busy areas of Falls Church.

Great playground in down town falls church! The play grounds was recently renovated and the new equipment is great - swings, seesaw, and climbing structures, as well as some open fields and benches.

Kids park but still nice

Great playground for many ages and the convenience to Harris Teeter leaves a nice set up for lunch and play.

Cute park in the middle of town with two play areas for kids and a covered picnic table. Got some history there that you can read up on too!

A great playground for the under 10 crowd. Multiple sites so the kids can cycle from one to the other.

Really fun park,it has a chess table made out of wood and it is really fun with the equipment they have for kids!

Great little park with some green space. Good location close to Broad Street in Falls Church City.

Wonderful public park, especially for children aged middle school and younger.
