The Car Connection

My friend Michael got a great car there. He is very happy with the gentle man was very helpful with letting him find Exactly what he wanted with a good price.

Recently bought a new used Cadillac from The car connection in Palm Bay Florida. Wonderful experience picking out our 2010 Cadillac CTS.

TL;DR: Got the car I was looking for at the right price. No endless negotiations, no sales pressure to add on extra (useless) options on a used car.
Exactly how car buying should be. In fact, it felt like I was buying a car from friends.

I typically spend about a year to find a "new to me" car. I know what car I want, what options it needs and exactly how much it should cost. I grow tired of dealership sales tactics. Yet most of them keep trying the same tired lines. I could go on and on about the big dealers around here and some unpleasant experiences, but this isn't about them.

There are no garbage sales tactics at The Car Connection. Steve and Pat were very laid back and nonchalant. Zero pressure. Maybe that's their tactic to get people like me? Either way it worked!

I saw the car I wanted. Tested it to my satisfaction with no questions from them. I already knew what price I was willing to pay. I had spent hours researching pricing long before stepping on the lot and their asking price was exactly where I was. I could contrast that with other dealers with the same car for 3 to 4 thousand over book. The Car Connection was dead on. I took a look at the same modeI at other dealerships that day, but all of the others were over priced, had dealer "non-negotiable" add-on options (yeah right), or, in one instance, had some serious engine problems on the test drive. And that car was 6K over book!

So, I went back to The Car Connection. We did the paperwork and to my surprise, they offer a 50/50 warranty on the engine and transmission. On a used car! I've never had a warranty with a used car; always "as-is", so that was a pleasant surprise! They have some skin in the game so even at a basic level it makes me think they do a pretty good check out so they don't get burned.

I did have an issue with my car after I bought it. The windshield wipers didn't work. I'm sure I tested them on my pre buy, but maybe I missed it. I called them up and they said bring it back and they'll take a look. They fixed it. No charge. Same day. I did not expect that at all! I had already paid for the car and had it a few days. It was my problem. But they took care of it.

Seriously, I can't recommend them enough. I hope they're still around in 15 years when I get another "new to me" car! I have a son who will be in the car market in a couple of years. We are definitely going to Car Connection first when that time comes.

As a side note, I don't know who cleaned the car ahead of time, I didn't ask as it's usually not a priority to me. But it was super clean. Like new car clean. And a really good smell to it that's sadly starting to fade now. I hope they did the cleaning; I'll take it back just for the smelly stuff!

I am a single mom & have been taken advantage of when attempting to buy a car on my own. A friend referred me to Car Connection. Upon calling them, they were accommodatable instantly! They stayed open late so I could test drive the car and once I drove it, I was instantly sold. For the year, price & model .. it was an AMAZING deal! They held the car for me for two days without any money down. Which was them going far beyond my expectations. They have a 30 day warranty with their dealership so if anything needed to be fixed, they'd pay 50% of the charges but there is absolutely nothing wrong with my Jetta! They didn't cease to amaze me because when I went to pick my tag up from them a month later, the owner went outside in the pouring rain to put it on my car for me. Who does that? That's not in their job description! I'm beyond thankful and grateful for them. I was worried the whole time that I'd spend all my savings on a car that would quit in a month. Whenever anybody asks where I got my car .. I will forever tell them to go to Car Connection!!! Thanks guys (and I hope you read this)!!!

Pat made the buying process simple. He understood our purpose for buying a secondary vehicle and didn't try to up-sell something we didn't need. The car isn't in mint condition, but we understood that prior to showing up.

Bought a Suzuki here last year and all I can say it has been the best car that I have ever had I haven't had any problems and Pat was an awesome guy to work with. I have even referred a few people here and told them how great my experience were. I will definitely buy another car from here in the near future!

Pat is a great guy. Super helpful. I read the other reviews and have to say, I waited a good month before rating to see how my car was. You are buying from a used car lot, you as the consumer need to take some responsibility for your purchase. I paid and brought a personal mechanic to help me choose a mechanically sound car. Pat was more than open to having the mechanic look them over, that in itself says a lot about the owner. I love my car! Payments exactly where I needed! Would definitely go back, but definitely bring a professional to help you choose. They are, after all used.

I just bought my second car from The Car Connection. They are both in phenomenal shape and run like a dream. Not a stain, not a scratch. New tires. Super friendly customer service. I recommend them to everyone.

These guys were great! Gave me a more then fair trade in value on my car to get me into a truck! The truck is everything they said it was I'm very very happy !! I will tell anyone looking for a good truthful dealer to go see Car Connection!!! By the way they have been there about 20 years or so if my memory serves me right. That has to tell you something!
