Great experience! I went back on Jan 23 and the snow was outside! I street parked. The minute I opened the door, someone said: "Hoş geldiniz" welcome. You feel you traveled to Turkey without expensive ticks or long our flights :) it immediately transfers you to the Turkish atmosphere that is filled with warmth, generosity, and delicious food! I've been in Turkey tens if not hundreds of times, and I felt I was in Turkey! Everything from the nice welcome to the decorations to, simplicity, to the generosity to the crowded place like you are in Istanbul :)
I was by myself and found an available small table for two. I went to order food to try the place, I ordered Spinach with cheese borek with tea, and the gentleman who works there was super friendly and got me baklava for free. All that was less than $8 and was super delicious like it was homemade!
The TV was one and showed some programs on traditional Turkish food in one of the cities! There was a coach that had a nice istanbul banner above it, and some people sat and took some souvenir pictures there. They also sell some Turkish goods/food and groceries as well as Turkish wine! Their menu has a variety of vegetarian food selections and traditional desserts. I loved the place and will go back for sure and have something else.
I highly recommend this place, and I am sure you will love it too!

Sunday brunch shouldn’t be missed at Borek G, had a great spread of eggs, simit, dips and spreads. Also not to be missed are the Turkish coffee and tea, along with a piece of baklava for a sweet ending. Service is fantastic at this family owned resto and all the little details add up to a wonderful experience.

Such a hidden gem! Hussein was so nice and hospitable as soon as we entered the store (true Turkish hospitality) He guided us through the menu and helped us picked some items. The tea was truly great and reminded me of the ones that I had in Istanbul. Very pleasant experience greatly because of the friendly service. The homemade food was delicious and good portions. I believe that his mom makes the food so if you are liking for a homemade Turkish meal, this is your place!

This gem is run by the absolute most sweet, caring, and hard-working family we have met in a long time. The food is prepped with love and the service is akin to the hospitality you’d receive from your own family. Whether you’re enjoying a hot plate breakfast with delicious tea for brunch or a hearty gyro, the folks at Borek G will serve it up with a smile and a warm energy that will light up your day. Our party of friends has been coming here for about a year now and we have always enjoyed our experience. The family is generous and kind not enough can be said about how that love radiates from the wonderful food. Do yourself a favor and stop in!

Slices of lamb & beef mixed shawarma meat on lettuce & tomatoes with yogurt garlic on top $11.99, two Turkish coffees and two pieces of Pistachio Baklava. Delicious!

We returned yesterday in spite of the flash flood warnings to taste their breakfast offerings. The Breakfast Special was delightful. We then decided to try the feta cheese borek. Initially I did not recognize it because of the English written label. But to my surprise, my taste buds knew immediately what I as eating, su borek - my favorite Turkish borek.

Knock, knock. Who’s there? It’s me. Your new loyal extended family member. How lucky can one be to find a restaurant that truly does down home cooking with her sons running the dining room and the Mother the anchor in the kitchen. Mom truly knows her cooking. We had the spicy lahmacun and the spinach and cheese borek as our appetizers. They were wonderful. I felt like I was back in the streets of Istanbul. For entrees, we had Doner kabob and mousaka. Both entrees were so flavorful. Don’t forget to eat the phenomenal rice pilaf from the bottom of the bowl. The rice is heavenly. The pistachio baklava was an amazing way to end the meal. And, the tea that accompanied it was so aromatic. This establishment has the potential to become a great restaurant. Husein and Mom keep up the great work. Thank you for taking me back home.

Borek G has been consistently donating food to the World Heritage Night Festival at Marshall High School. The Marshall Community and the World Heritage Night committee is grateful for Borek G's delicious food donation to represent Turkey. Thank you for making our event a huge success! The chickpeas and eggplant dishes vanished away in minutes.

Really love their hummus that they sell in the market section been buying it for years from them at their market stands and now I can finally buy it regularly from their store.

Now I have another favorite chickpeas on rice and it is delicious.

Wonderful kind staff and fair prices

I recently had breakfast at Borek-G, and it was great! The food was tasty, and the service was friendly. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a good breakfast spot.

The outdoor seating caught my eye so I went in and got the lentil soup. It was really tasty, comes with lemon, and a good Turkish bread (not sure of its name). Very satisfying lunch. The owner is a very nice, friendly guy.

To the owners: If you were to offer more vegan soups or entrees, I'd be back a lot! You can bring in a big population of plant-based eaters and I'd be the one to advertise it! I love seeing family businesses do well in this area.

Freshly baked börek and baklava. We enjoyed wonderful taste and pretty outdoor seating areas. Staff are super friendly.

We had their daily special, beef fajitas and stuffed bell peppers. The flavor was so good! We often buy their bagel, flatbread, and beef wheels from farmer’s market, and was so happy to be able to try their meals this time. They will start a beer garden when the weather gets warmer. We will definitely come back and try again then!

Visited this store after getting food from the Falls Church farmers market- seriously so so good. The servers are incredibly friendly, the food is fantastic - you won’t regret coming here! Ordered: feta borek, beef borek, potato borek, spinach flatbread and apple tea.

There's nothing like a Mom's cooking. If you don't have a Turkish mom, head here for a chance to sample a variety of delicious food and homemade pastry. My friend loved her Breakfast Plate with eggs and sausage and tried to figure out the secret that made the eggs so special. I think it's Dilek's TLC. I couldn't make up my mind, but Huseyin said the Beef Pan Baked Kebab and Moussaka on rice were the food they ate at home. I got both and cleaned my plate. No matter how much you eat, there's always room for tea and dessert to share. Dukers, however, needs to either repair or replace the broken refrigerator cases ASAP. They need to be filled so that we can stock up on Mom's special food.

Traditional turkish breakfast cafe. Everything is super tasty. My favorite is SU BOREGI. They also have Turkish coffee and tea. Staff is very friendly. They are selling Turkish products. They have easy parking too.

Today was my first time trying this place! Everything was absolutely delicious and the owners are the nicest people I’ve ever met. They have outdoor seating area as well. I can’t wait to try the other pastries here so far i tried the gyro baklava borek and it was amazing. It felt like i was at my own house eating borek. They’re very welcoming people with great food. I wanna move to virginia just for this place and the people. Wow I’m honestly so proud and happy. Thank you guys soooo much. Can’t wait to be back🤗🤗🤗

I heard about this place by going to the Falls Church Farmers Market, and it did not disappoint.You have to go to this hidden gem in Falls Church! The owners are incredibly friendly and the food is so good. You can tell that they make it fresh. I suggest getting the doner sandwich. And the housemade purple basil tea is divine.

Borek G is legit! The staff, and more importantly, the food is amazing. The borek and flatbreads are delicious, and I really love the chicken gyro as well. It’s a great place to bring your family and friends, or just chill out for a quick meal.

Recommend. The food was amazing and the service was quick. The chai was also very good. Staff attentive and very kind.
