Really good food. Fairly priced. Packed with flavor. The rice has a unique taste to it. The tea is top notch. Bathroom was clean. Overall hygiene of this restaurant is above average. Near a brewery. Convenient for drinks before or after dinner, or while you wait for seat openings.

Would come back.

We have been to the restaurant for the second time and we had a pleasant experience. They don't do reservations and will have to wait sometimes as they are very busy. We were seated at the bar tables until one table was free, then switched to the regular table. The food and service are great. It's a nice restaurant so try them out.

Went there for dinner today for first time and I loved it. Cozy place, great service and owner is very nice and friendly. They’ve been in business for 6 years at this location now. Great place in falls church to go for lunch or dinner and have a drink 🥃 because they have a full bar and good selection of wines. Perfect place to go with family and friends or date night dinner. I highly recommend it.

My friend took me to Panjshir Restaurant in the City of Falls Church for lunch. The Afghan cuisine had yummy, new tastes with many options for me, a vegan. My friend, an omnivore, declared the lamb in her dish, delicious. We enjoyed Cardamom tea, and I asked about the exceptionally long grain rice that turned out to be "Mother Rice" from the Himalayan Mtns. Prices were reasonable but portions were huge; thus we both took home a second meal for one price! The authentic decor is also elegant, and it wasn't crowded, though we came at the end of lunch. If you seek a rare gem among restaurants, you'll find it in Panjshir!

Excellent gluten-free and vegan options for dinner, and our lamb was perfectly cooked.

If you are open-minded to spices you will enjoy the various flavors found throughout your meal.

We loved our pick three vegan dish. Their pumpkin was more like a dessert, the eggplant was outstanding, and our generous portion of spinach was perfectly flavored.

Ah-maaaa-zingg!!! Super flavorful and delicious food. Generous portions and heavenly combinations keep us coming back for more. The lamb is so tender it’s surreal. Give this wonderful restaurant a try and you’ll be raving about their food too. Ample seating and beautiful decor abound, the bar is well stocked and the service is efficient and friendly.

The neighborhood gem in Falls Church, VA is one of my favorite restaurants. It’s authentic Afghan food, so delicious and fresh. I like to try a variety of things when dining there, and Matt the owner, is so attentive and hospitable. Be sure to check it out next time your near Falls Church. It’s located across from the actual Falls Church from circa 1732 at 114 East Fairfax Street. They also have a full bar.

Excellent Afghan Food and Service. The Quorma Seib (Apple Quorma) was delicious and will be ordered again and again. The kabobs were all cooked perfectly, and the Green Tea with Mint and honey was nice to keep it all washed down. Both desserts - The Toasted Almond Cake and Chocolate Firnee were Amazing! If you have not been here, now is the best time to go!

Amazing food, amazing service! My partner and I have had Afghan food before and this was the best restaurant we’ve been to overall. My family came and it was their first time having Afghan food. They loved it! They had lots of variety in their entrees

My husband and I tried this place today and everything we had was amazing. Appetizers, soup, entrees, and dessert were excellent and we had great service. The flavors are fresh and every bite was delicious. Highly recommend!

my first visit in decades. I called and asked if they could prpare a special family style dinner for a dozen people. They were very responsive even to the point of accommodating late change in numbers. The food was tasty, particularly the appetizers.
House wine was excellent and the prices reasonable. Staff friendly and the setting, though modest, was excellent. Highly recommended

The food is delicious; I enjoyed everything I tried. The waitresses are professional too. However, I do wish they had a really good black loose-leaf tea.

The food was amazing and so is the service. The waiters and waitresses were extra nice and friendly. The food didn't take too long and flavors were just exuberant. The ambiance is just pleasing and great place for a date night. Will go back again!!

I love this restaurant so much, and I want to visit every time I am in the area! The food is so delicious, and they have lots of wonderful vegetarian options. I highly recommend their mashawa soup (amazing), kadu chalow (pumpkin), sabsi chalow (spinach), and seib chalow (apples).

Great food! Loved everything: starters (I got dumplings and also tried the turnover and soup), main course (had lamb chops, also tried lamp shank) and dessert (phirni)…wonderful

The food and service were great. I had Muntoo (Steamed beef dumplings with seasoned yogurt & meat sauce), Chopped Kabab (Lamb chop with saffron rice), and Afghan-style Cardamom Tea.

Smiling faces, delicious food and clean space. We’ll definitely come back here frequently now whenever we don’t want to cook at home.

This is one of those fantastic hole in the wall gems I almost never come across. The food is rich and flavorful in a way that only a passionate expert can prepare. The atmosphere warmly invites me into what feels like another country and another time where I am visiting a dear friend. Beautiful just a Beautiful experience.

This resturant is a hidden treasure in Falls Church. This resturant easily can be one of the best Middle eastern / Asian resturants in Virginia. I have dined in and ordered food for take away.
