Their buns make me feels like home back in Hong Kong! The top of pineapple is crunchy and sweet. The Cha Shu(pork) bun has a good amount of stuffing and they are HUGE. Egg tart can be sweeter but the shell has a good aroma and good texture.

I was on the hunt for moon cakes in the DC area, when I found this bakery. They had 9 different types! And all were fresh from oven and very delicious. After talking with the young lady at the register, she shared that over the last 6 years fewer and fewer Chinese bakeries are making moon cakes because they are complicated and expensive. However, she said they continue to have good business because they bake theirs fresh without any preservatives (a sad reality about a lot of packaged baked goods shipped from overseas). I bought 4 of them and they were beautiful and delicious. They were the right density and not too sweet! I showed my parents and they were very impressed.

A hidden gem inside of the Good Fortune grocery store. They have a decent variety of baked goods and you cant go wrong with anything you choose. The egg custard is always fresh and very silky. The pineapple buns are always tasty and the coconut roll is the best Ive ever had! Most of the items are made fresh in the morning so get there early.

Hands down the best Cantonese bakery with affordable prices in the Washington metropolitan area. Located inside the Good Fortune grocery store, their bakery offers fragrant Hong Kong-style egg tarts, Portuguese custard tarts, and a variety of traditional mooncakes, which serve best with warm tea, and many more that are baked throughout the day. Plus, their staff is surprisingly kind, friendly, and patient.

It's extremely rare to find a good chinese style bakery this far south, (as in not NYC or Philly) but Wing Sheng does it. The egg tarts you try here will be the best in this whole area.

The baked goods are all fresh and the people behind the counter were absolutely lovely. I would highly recommend to anyone craving a pineapple bun or egg tart.

Their pineapple bun (I bought the original, red bean, and chasiu versions) were really good. I guess I don't need to go to HK for them anymore! The bread had a very strong milk and butter, custard-like scent to them. Very good. The cashier was very cute and nice too.

My sister and I got the Hong Kong style egg tart, the glutinous rice flour wrapped in fried dough and the red bean and mango mochi. The egg tart is no joke and is so silky. The fried dough was tasty but could easily feed 2-3 people. The mochi however, wow. I’ve missed good mochi since going to Japan and this is the perfect consistency. The coconut on the outside is an extra bonus.

Really yummy fresh breads baked here daily. The Sweet Cream Bun 奶皇包 and Coconut Cream Bun 椰子奶油包 are definitely the tastiest. Most of the breads are super soft and fluffy. Really good! After a certain time they also discount most of it to $1/item. Make sure you pay at the stall! Do not try to pay up front. Do not steal! Minimum $8 purchase for credit card.

This place is amazing!!! The only other place I've found a Cantonese bakery is in NY Chinatown. It is the best bread you will ever eat. The egg tarts are also fantastic.

This is my favorite Chinese bakery, the bread is made fresh and I always come and buy a bunch to take home with me. The pork floss buns and the BBQ pork buns are always my favorite. The ladies who work here are extremely helpful and kind as well!

I've ordered from here a few times, the pineapple cream buns are really good, but every time I just toss random things into my cart and order it. Never disappointed

the pastries are the bomb, to die for! i think it's located inside the supermarket? ordered a bunch of pastries through uber eats and was pleasantly surprised by the variety of mooncakes and other pastries.
